When they found out we just stopped in on our way to do some waterfall hiking they proceeded to share all the local popular hiking spots and talked with her as if they were friends sharing notes about upcoming plans. The store, nicely decorated and in the process of getting set up for the Christmas season. Lots of unique items that would serve well as home décor for you or would make for excellent gifts. Prices were really good and they are more than willing to do what they can to accommodate - shipping isn't an issue! Also, they are on facebook, just maybe don't display everything they have available. We really liked this store and would most certainly return here if we find ourselves in the area again.

I just decided this week to order a few more items from 31 TwentyFive from home (isn't this what we all do in quarantine?). Their customer service is excellent. I live in CT and didn't pick shipping when I placed my order. Ali immediately reached out, as they are doing porch pickup due to Covid-19 and did not want to leave my stuff out if I chose porch pickup by mistake. She is now shipping my items to me in CT. We vacationed in Dale Hollow Tennessee and we had a day that it rained and we could not get out in…read moreour boat on the lake so we decided to go over to Cookeville to take a look at the shops and go out to dinner. We stopped in Jones Antiques and found this is a very nice store. We spent a few hours in there and in reading up on the place after the fact I found out that we missed the entire basement where they have caused World War I, World War II, and Civil War memorabilia. We will definitely have to go back and catch the basement part of the store. As we perused the shop it looked like they had a little bit of everything and in all kinds of price ranges from $5 record albums up into the unapproachable numbers for some of the items. Well at least for me LOL. I did find an item that I brought home, I recently remodeled my bathroom in a lake theme and found this beautiful mermaid that fit my decor perfectly. Take a look at the photos to get some idea of what they have. I love browsing this kind of store you never know what you are going to find! After spending a few minutes browsing the store (for example, looking through records, or examining a trumpet that supposedly works but is broken) the host very angrily and rudely told us to "Stop touching things we had no intention of buying." Interestingly enough, we were actually interested in buying the things we were touching. Unfortunately, it's hard to know what record to buy without looking at them. How do you know if a trumpet works? There was never any hospitality or politeness, no mention of "hey yall." Instead we got "yall are really getting on my nerves" This racist act shines very poorly on Downtown Cookeville.
