Someone who's been to several events there recently said the experience was pretty disappointing. The event seemed short-staffed, so things didn't run smoothly for guests. The food was also an issue--some of it was undercooked, and they even ran out before everyone was served. What stood out most was that management never really came out to check on things or address any of the problems. Overall, it didn't live up to what people used to expect from Park Place, and it's probably not a top choice right now.

So helpful and personable. The food was delicious. It was a buffet with very fresh salad, delicious ranch, warm rolls. The lunch selections were park place chicken, kielbasa & kraut, red potatoes, and green beans. Seriously the chicken was incredible. My aunt selected a white cake with strawberries as the dessert, it was excellent. It was made in-house, cut and served beautifully, plated on two dessert tables. So I was able to really look at each piece to find the one with the most frosting :) The hall is unassuming from the road (Outer Drive), but once inside you find a real gem, it's so clean, professional, and really nice.

This was my first time visiting Jackson Five Star Catering, as I had never heard of it before. So I was curious about trying a new place. My girlfriend has had some of yours food before, and she thought it tasted very good. So I became excited. Upon walking up to the window, the young woman on the register visibly had an irritated look on her face. My girlfriend ordered a sausage, and as I was about to say what I wanted, the cashier just walked off before I had a chance to begin speaking. After she came back to the window with a wrapped sausage, she looks at my girlfriend and asks, "Anything else?" I spoke up asking, "For the chicken tender meal, how large of an order of fries come with that?" She responded, "It's a $4 fry order". Once again, I had never eaten here before, so I had no idea what size that would be. So I said, "But I don't know how big that is", after which she holds up an empty tray and says, "All the food fits in this tray! The chicken sits on top of the fries!" She then shoves the tray through the ordering window and almost directly in my face saying, "You do the math! I don't know what to tell you!" It was at this point that I just told her, "Never mind. I don't want anything". Then my girlfriend handed back the sausage, and we both walked away extremely agitated, and extremely hungry. If I could give a score lower than 1 star, I definitely would. This is the only interaction I've had with this establishment, and I don't believe that I will be returning.

It's a Jewish restaurant that keeps to kosher dietary standards. Food here is spectacular and impressive. I've always been thrilled with the dining experience here. They've got a nice hand with seafood, bake amazing breads and desserts, and have the type of menu that changes with the season. Seasonal menu rotation is the hallmark of a truly great restaurant, to me. Along with a great wine selection, another area Milk and Honey does not disappoint in.

Our guests really enjoyed their 3-course meal of appetizer pizza, salad, a challah roll, penne pasta, and a giant chocolate chip cookie. Thank you! We would definitely order again!
