Kristina's Catering did the buffet for our wedding, and WOW, everything was absolutely PERFECT. I had several wedding guests tell me that it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and I absolutely agree. Everything was absolutely delicious, piping hot and even the veggies were still perfectly crunchy. We had the Chicken Kristina (sundried tomato and basil cream sauce), Palomino pasta (creamy marinara), Bourbon-Maple meatballs, Herb Roasted Redskins, and the Seasonal Vegetable Medley (also salad, dressing and rolls). Was in a business training down in Detroit and it was catered by Kristina's catering this morning for our breakfast as well as our reception in the evening. We thought they were going to have an omelette station, but the amateur already made for us. They did have some nice fruit options as well. We had a limited, but satisfactory breakfast spread. There was a decent spread for lunch as well. Chicken, veggies, rice, potato and kale and quinoa salad too. The reception was a little bit more food options. I'm putting this review everywhere, but Kristina's catered my wedding on 10.12.24 and they were AMAZING! Even more than amazing, the whole crew was phenomenal. I have a lot of food sensitivities so we went with Kristina's because they had some vegan options already on their list. We worked with Nicole and Joan for planning and they were able to accommodate everything we asked for. The food was better than we could've imagined. Everyone raved about it to me that night and even days after. My only regret is not ordering more so we could have more to take home! Lol. We did strolling stations, which were set up so cute! For apps we had hummus shooters, Pad Thai boxes, and risotto arancini. I had a few guests even say, "I ate like 10 arancini, they were incredible!" We did the street tacos (jackfruit & pork), Mediterranean (chicken & falafel), and stuffed squash. Everything was perfect! The Pad Thai boxes were SO cute, too! Their staff was so attentive and brought us food and drinks, they were so so kind and thoughtful. The icing on the cake was our late night snack Hot Pretzel Bar. It was awesome and everyone loved it! We had Kristina's cater 50th anniversary party at the Ford Piquette Museum. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend their services. The pricing was very reasonable and I appreciated the wide variety of menu options available. The team (Marci and Rachel) arrived on time and had everything set up a few minutes early despite a rain storm just as we were about to eat! They managed to calmly and efficiently get everything set up in our sunporch as people were cramming into it due to the rain. Everything was beautifully displayed with linens and table decor. The food was wonderful (hot and delicious) and the service was extremely friendly/attentive. The pasta with marinara sauce was a big hit - wonderfully al dente - that's not the easiest to achieve with catered food! Marci and Rachel were very helpful, even going above and by doing several things that were not part of their responsibilities - I especially appreciated when they offered to organize the self-serve bar when it was getting a bit disorganized. We are SO happy with our decision to have Kristina's Catering cater our wedding! EVERY single appetizer and dish we had at our tasting was phenomenal - it was such a hard decision to finalize our choices. We went with filet, airline chicken, and eggplant parmesan. WOW, did Kristina's blow us away!! I have no idea how they cooked almost 200 filets PERFECTLY - but they did! The meat was tender, the vegetables were crisp, and the presentation was beautiful and colorful. Also, the portions were so big! I have a huge Italian family who is very picky about food and they are still raving about Kristina's (over a month later). My husband's family is Korean and Kristina's even came up with some Korean inspired appetizer options for us which was so thoughtful! Our guests LOVED them! This vendor is very snobby. I Inquired about having my venue staff (professional waitstaff mind you that I already had to pay for with my venue and was included in the 18k venue only package) serve the food to the actual guests in hopes we could save a little with the amount of people they would need to bring to our wedding, because we are already paying for it in the 18k price of the venue. Not an unreasonable question, it's not like I was asking for half off the food by all means; Kristina's could still plate it, make it all that of course, I would just supplement some of their serving staff with my own since again, I already am paying for it. This was their response: "Kristina's doesn't let venue staff serve our food. That's not how we run our business. It seems like we aren't a match. Goodluck with your celebration this summer." It was such a rude and unprofessional email. My favorite was Goodluck with your celebration, with them knowing it was a wedding I was inquiring about, and an expensive one at that! So it makes me mad the way they belittled me for so much as asking a question. It left such a bad taste in my mouth. It also takes a lot for me to take the time to write a review because I usually just blow it off, but the way they acted was just rude and I hope the next person considering them, thinks twice because I'm sure their food is great, but their attitude is NOT. read more

Kristina's catered my daughter's wedding and if I could give her 100 stars out of 5 I would. First, her food was absolutely delicious. We had appetizers along with 3 different stations. My daughter is vegan and my husband is gluten free and she was able to put together a menu that worked for everybody with many different choices: a salad station, a Mediterranean station and a BBQ station. Second, her staff blew away my expectations. Every time I tried to do something (ie wipe up spilled drinks on the dance floor) her staff jumped in to do it and told me to go enjoy the party. They did so much "maintenance work" throughout the night that I was not expecting. They even replenished the cake/dessert table even though my daughter did not use them for providing desserts. Her bartenders were great. They knew how to have fun with the guests but also where the line was that they could not cross. My only regret is that I didn't have her supply the late night snack!
