Don't waste your time making an appointment and showing up on time. I made an appointment 10 days ago for a 1:30 pm haircut during my lunch break. I showed up on time and was told that Liz was "finishing up" another customer but she was only about 1/2 done with said customer. No apologies nothing, just ignoring me while she slowly chatted up the other client. I walked out having wasted my lunch break without a haircut and without lunch. My whole family used to come here. You get exactly what you pay for. You will definitely get to hear all about Rachel's divorce and how a black judge ruled in her husband's favor because he was black too. Racist and oversharing. The cut was lack luster too, I listed on their web scheduler that I wanted a "cut & blow dry style" and barely got it dried before she declared herself done (it was still wet underneath, I just wanted out of there). First time customer, I made an appointment, came in & got a stylist who obviously hasn't had her license long. Brooke took me to the shampoo bowl & having had my cosmetology license very long! First thing I learned in cosmetology school was the key to a good cut is shampooing hair clean! Brooke never touched my scalp! Wtf is that about? She then went on to chop my hair in chunks! Never checked to see if her cut was even anywhere on my head! Then when she was "done" she disappeared in the back. She was hiding knowing this wasn't her best work! I made a same day appointment and the girl on the phone said they weren't too busy and it would be fine. I came in and the stylist who cut my husbands hair was rude to him because he wasn't sure what kind of style he wanted and was asking her questions, then when he figured out what he wanted she did something different, on top of that she acted like cutting his hair was a chore the entire time. While in the middle of his haircut she started to complain about how she wouldn't have enough time to do his hair because she had another appointment as well. I went in to get my haircut today (Sunday morning). There was plenty of staff working so there was no wait. Vanessa ended up doing my haircut and did a great job. She cut my hair exactly as requested and made sure throughout by checking with me that she wasn't cutting too much. Ariel is absolutely the worst I've ever had cut my hair. and on top of my bad hair cut she gave my wife highlights and when she was finally done my wife had pieces of hair missing because it broke off... how dose that even happen...wow!! and on top of all that I heard her telling another person there that she Steals money out of the cash register people are so wrong... I then had no faith in her abilities so I asked for a braid and curls a style kept down. She half assed it and still charged me 40. Very disappointed won't ever come back. read more

I have gotten a nice haircut here myself. The staff seems friendly and the prices are reasonable. The problem I had is I took my son into to get a haircut once and I was pretty disappointed. I usually have his hair kept longer on the top and on the sides faded. Very typical little boy haircut. What happened here is the lady just took the clippers and gave him a number one all over his head. This is not what I asked her to do at all. She didn't clean up the sides or his neck or anything. Conveniently located in the Mesa Ridge shopping center by the Safeway. I've come here a few times and had different stylists work on my hair and brows. They are all great. I've had maybe one where I'm sure it was just miscommunication, but I can't blame the entire salon for that. They all do great work, and hair grows back. It's not like your arms or legs, those don't grow back. I know everyone must start somewhere so it's ok. If anything, they allow me to see a more senior stylist to get it fixed within a couple days. First time I went walmart had ruined my hair n had it in several lengths so it had to be cut short.. I have natural curly hair which I hate.. I told her this yet left there 2x with it wet n curly to go home n shampoo to fix b4 I could be seen in public.. Saturday I went for a trim,again she added that sticky mousse stuff, Cut my bangs Thicker which I had Grown out, I do not like bangs n told her a TRIM only I am trying to grow all long, I washed it n fixed b4 going to show How I wear it, Behind ears curled up in back, she had it over ears curling towards face n Bangs r now thick!! Do You people Ever listen... I had to have you redo it as you tried the wet curly crap again n I refused to leave there with a wet head as it always makes me sick... Never again I gave you 3 chances as I did walmart.
