The salon itself is beautifully styled and spotless- I felt listened to and very pampered. I have already booked my next visit and you should not hesitate. If you're looking for a color correction, or just a new style, go to the salon and ask for any of the stylists, as I watched them cut and color other clients effortlessly and professionally. DO NOT GO HERE Heather did my hair I asked for a balayage showed her reference pictures. All she did was highlight my hair really all she did was bleach my hair because she did not tone my hair at all and it was $500. I came back to have it fixed, my hair and still did not tone. She did not give me a refund and she was very, very rude. read more

Someone recommended Constantine for long curly hair. I called to make an appointment and left a voicemail specifying that I wanted to make an appointment with him. I received a text message asking me what days and time I would like to book. I went ahead and booked an appointment for a morning. A day before my appointment I texted again to confirm and asked to make sure I was going to be seeing Constantine. The person texting said that I would in fact be seeing her. So that was a bummer since in both the voicemail and the text message I specified I wanted to get an appointment with him. Decided to give her a try anyways. She was friendly and did a decent job with my haircut. She seemed to have a hard time styling it but no biggie, since I have a lot of hair. I just went home and fix it up a little. I've gone to see Constantine for years when I used to live in Colorado Springs and he still worked at J Gregory salon on S. Tejon. I've always been delighted with his work, especially as I have very unruly yet dry/brittle hair. Well, unfortunately, I moved to Castle Rock in 2012 and after several attempts during the following years at finding a decent hairstylist in the south Denver area that isn't 1)too far to drive to, or 2)outrageously expensive, or 3) too booked out for months to fit me into their schedule, or 4) treating me like I'm not good enough for their salon, I just had enough with the Denver beauty scene. I decided to make the drive back to Colorado Springs to see Constantine again at this beautiful new salon...and I'm so glad I did! I have very dry/brittle, fragile graying hair that's had several bad haircuts, but Constantine managed to make my graying hair look smooth and chic. He's helping me to grow out the silver/gray hair as seamlessly as possible. Plus, he manages to keep his prices reasonable and also always manages to fit me into his busy schedule. When I see him, he treats me like family. My mother and sister see him too. Give Constantine a try. A quaint little place. I loved the atmosphere and my hairdresser, Kenzi, was amazing. I am absolutely at a loss about what hairstyles would look good on me and she had great recommendations based on my face shape and look and it came out wonderful! She also took the time to teach me how to curl my hair (since I told her I have never been able to successfully do it myself) and she gave me tips on flyaway hairs! My awesome hairstylist Carrie moved to Shoosh and I think it's a great place. It's very clean and parking is easy. If you have curly hair (or any hair, really) I highly recommend Carrie. She is trained in DevaCurl and is awesome at knowing what is best in cutting and styling curly hair. She knows a lot about the products and is very patient in explaining things to me. I moved here from San Francisco, where I paid $300+ for frankly, mediocre cuts and colors. I didn't hold high hopes for a great hairdresser in Colorado Springs (no offense, Colorado Springs) but was referred to Constanin. I learned that he used to do hair in Beverly Hills and thought "well that's a good sign." He's AMAZING, the best hairdresser I've ever had and at half the price of what I am used to. Every time he does my hair we do something a little different, a slightly different shade or cut, which I really appreciate as I find that most hairdressers give you the same damn thing every time.
