I'm sorry I forgot the appointments and I apologized when I remembered that I had missed them. Today we had a level 2 snow emergency and I called 15 minutes after appointment to apologize and reschedule. Had Kate taken the time to ask me why all of a sudden I missed appointments when I had not missed an appointment ever and typically would call if I was running late even -- she would have found out why. She would have found out that my mom was battling a life threatening illness and then my entire family had Covid and were struggling to get through it. Covid fog was the reason I missed the second appointment and if you haven't had Covid be glad as it's very real. She also would have found out I was willing to pay for the missed appointment charge for the inconvenience. However she didn't ask and she didn't care obviously. Having been a customer for 5 + years and not giving me any consideration at all as a long term customer but to say she wouldn't reschedule -- I will gladly take my business elsewhere where customers are valued -- and I will give my recommendations for a good salon in the area to my new stylist -- I have easily recommended 50 plus customers to Honeysuckle over the years believing their customers mattered. I believed wrong. Lesson for business owners: value customers and consider what might cause someone who has never missed appointments to suddenly miss multiple ones -- especially when we are in a pandemic. If not don't wonder when customers go elsewhere.
