6.10.23 In need of a trim so we stopped in to see if they had an opening Saturday. The receptionist was nice took my information and Rachel came up and was ready to see me, no waiting! Rachel was very sweet, listened to what I wanted done with my curls. Before she cut she explained what she was going to do and showed me what she was going to trim off. Rachel did a trim, layers and a face frame. I wanted it trimmed and more volume and she accomplished that! I couldn't be happier with my curly girl cut! Any curly girls in need of trim go see Rachel. I have gone to Fantastic Sams many times before but this is definitely my favorite visit. I came in earlier today with a slightly spontaneous haircut in mind (more-so I have been sitting on this idea and have been scared to execute it). I have refused to actually CUT my hair for like 4 years after a "bad" haircut (it was just too short lmao), it was down to the end of my back. I got my haircut with Rachel (a godsend) and I explained exactly what I was looking for and made my hesitation of a haircut very obvious. Immediately she understood exactly what I was telling her and we were bouncing off wonderful ideas. I felt comfortable with her and totally understood. And guess what? I love my haircut! I went to this location about a month ago to receive a trim and add layers to my hair. I have very straight hair and have gotten this cut from many salons before with no problem. The lady I had added very short and choppy layers, where my hair looks mullet like. I have received comments asking "did you cut your hair yourself with scissors?" because it looks so bad. I have to clip back the layers every day to avoid this look. I'm praying my hair grows out fast because I can't even get it fixed without making it shorter. I went to this location prior and had Amy and LOVED her, I wish I had her for this trip. I just expected this stylist to blend out my layers and not make it so choppy. If the layers were blended and natural looking I wouldn't even think twice about it. if you go, ask for Amy, she has your back 100%. read more

Is just Fantastic I got to meet her last year where she did some area highlights, I got a cool pop of pink and I was very extremely happy with it, as it was semi- permanent it was long lasting for six months, I just recently returned back and had some more coloring done, we toned it down to my natural color in the back, and we added some pops of red to it. It is very glitzy bold and loud, and I absolutely love it! Meanwhile, I had a trim and a shampoo and conditioning wash, not only do I think my stylist is professional but she is also very social and fun to talk to, I am very pleased with my hair and will be back, I have also asked her to style my hair for a Fall Wedding! I don't know why this place has a lower star rating than a four. Appointments are easy to schedule, the staff is friendly, prices are affordable, and I've never left upset with my haircut. The price point is very affordable. I spend 22 bucks for a haircut and leave a five dollar tip. The place is always clean and calling ahead ensures you don't wait very long. The staff are friendly, they keep the conversation flowing, and make the experience enjoyable. As I'm not a lady, I can't say how well they do women's hair, but I'be never had a bad haircut here. read more

If I could rate this business 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STYLIST!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I called this salon because I was looking for something more price friendly due to just wanting my hair curled( basic hairstyle)I spoke with the owner on two occasions and she quoted me $35 dollars for my hair and my 5 yr old nieces hair. I did let her know that I have pretty fine hair and I would be bringing on my halo extension to put in my hair. She made it clear it was 35 dollars and it wasn't a issue. I told her I wanted to be clear the price would be 35 because I could just curl my hair myself but since it was such a great price I told her great make the appointment. When the stylist was curling my hair she didn't even hair spray it until my entire head was curled. I asked for a side braid which seemed liked she didn't want to do. I finally just gave up and told her I would do it myself then. To get her to do anything seemed like a issue. I even put my own extension in to help her. When I went to check out they ended up charging me a $125 dollars because they added 4 Bobbie pins to secure my nieces flower halo. She said that counted as a full updo. I finally got them to bring it down even though the hair stylist said she was angry with me and didn't want to bring down the price because I asked her to add more curls and adjust the front. She took it upon herself to re curl her hair because it wasn't curled much to begin with. The manager at the salon wouldn't do anything very very rude salon. Then when I called her out she changed her story and said she was angry with the owner. She also lied and said my niece kept moving around which was total bs she didn't move at all. They also charged me 80 dollars to curl my hair. When I spoke with the owner she tried to lie and say she said starting at 35 which is total LIE!!! The brides hair was the price of mine and she had flowers and braids in her hair. She refused to refund me the difference. Instead she said she had to check camera footage and audio all over a small refund. I called and told her to forget it. I was ripped off lesson learned. Don't go to this place they charge the same amount as a higher end salon and do a crappy job. She even had the nerve to try to say I was rude to the stylist. She had every excuse in the book to justify the way I was treated. I paid 80 dollars to get my hair half aa@& curled when I could have done a better job myself. read more

Stephanie B. is greats, she used to cut my hair when it was a pixie cut. She listens to you and ask questions before cutting your hair. Prices are good. People are crappy. I made an appointment last week for a hair cut and I get there I'm waiting for over 2 hours and they tell me that they don't make appointments for cuts only. But they forgot to say that on the phone. I go again today to get my hair cut, and the people are still rude, and this Javier (the man who belittled me about making an appointment), lets someone go before me, even though i signed in on the kiosk at the front. This time, I speak up. When he is cutting my hair, he initially insults it, and is short with me. Only positive is that they're cheap and the cuts aren't shit. Nice staff, and good cuts for a fair price, but their electronic check-in system is broken. It doesn't process as first come, first served - so expect to be bypassed even when their system tells you you're next in line. And unfortunately, no one on the staff knows how to mark customers that have already been called and are in the chair, so they keep calling out the same names. After waiting 15 minutes my stylist took another client back. I waited an additional 15 minutes to see if she would even acknowledge the fact i had an appointment and nothing. So i left. We go in to see Reina when we can. Love the way she cuts my hair and she's great with color. They don't take appointments for hair cuts so there can to a wait. If somebody booked a perm for a stylist you want you can be there a while. Ask! After waiting more than 30 minutes they took back TWO people ahead of me. I was there to get my 2 year old son's hair cut, if you have children you know their attention span isn't THAT long, and ended up walking out with another lady who was just as upset as I was when they did that to me. After the first person I told them that I was there first (I only went in because there was nobody ahead of me, only people in the chairs), and the lady said "She'll take you next." And continue to seat the man. I can't believe the man would be so rude to sit down after he KNEW we'd been waiting longer than he had been. Next thing you know, another lady walks through the door and she completely skipped EVERYONE who was waiting in line. When the elderly lady sitting next to us saw that, she stood up and walked out, and we were right behind her. I've never experienced something like that that before. We went there because about a month ago Bonnie gave my son the BEST haircut he's ever received, so it was worth the wait to me... she wasn't there this time, but we still chose to wait. We will not be going there again and hope nobody else has to experience what we just did. read more

I asked for a long, layered cut "just a little bit above my shoulders." What I got was 4 inches above my shoulders, with the back of my neck shaved all the way to the base of my scull with it wedged in reverse-- meaning the back was shorter than the front. She started shaving before I could stop her. To top it off, I look like a MUSHROOM with cocker spaniel ears in front!!! I am devastated. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I highly recommend not going to this hair salon, the service I had there (the one time I tried it) was terrible. I'm not speaking for all the stylists here but Rachel was the worst. She barely covered me with a cape and ruined the entire chair I sat in and my favorite shirt with hair bleach. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing, she didn't mix any of the dye right, she completely ruined my hair coloring and was nowhere even close to the color I wanted after redoing it about 5 times, burned my scalp causing sores all over, and charged me over $100 only for color. She did not blow dry, cut, or style my hair as promised in the payment package the salon advertises- just left me to go home with a wet head in a stained shirt. I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible. read more
