So pleased with this place. I came in as a walk in and got to get my tattoo the same day. My artist was Mel. She is extremely wonderful. She told me that she's only been tattooing for 2 years. But she had the softest touch I ever had. And he work was beyond great. The colors are so bright and have a beautiful pop to them. She was also very sweet and nice to have a convocation with. I came in with several friends 3 months ago for Friday the 13th. Being newish to the tattoo/piercing community, I didn't realize this date was such a big deal. We stood in line for nearly two hours for discounted piercings and I was about to head home when an employee came out telling anyone there for piercings to head to the front of the line. Apparently most everyone was there for tattoos and they were trying to lessen the line a bit. While I don't remember his name, the guy who did my earlobes was quick and professional. He said he had been there all day and it already being after 11pm, I could tell he still had minimum another 3 hours based on the line out the door. I could tell he was exhausted and craving a breather, but didn't let it affect his work. His actions deserving of 5 stars came when he was piercing one of my friends' smiley and she had a spell. He carried her out to the couch in the waiting area, gave her his trash can, which she did end up needing, and brought her some doughnuts from the employees' break area. His quick action to her piercing reaction was fantastic. Will certainly go back for future work! read more

Compared to BENT NEEDLE who I also reviewed, this place is definitely a better class establishment. They have a great asian themed decor in the lobby and a staff that was very attentive the minute we walked in the door. Chris was ACES...he saw the design and I gave him carte blanche to do with it as he saw fit. He made a suggestion that I kinda hedged against as I wanted teh design as it was in the original image but finally decided that he's more of an artist than I am and he probably knows best. And he did. The tattoo that PJ at Bent Needle would take over four hours from drawing to finish took about an hour. Chris' suggestions were things I would have never considered doing but he really made the design his own and it looks great. It looks better than anything I would have come up with and I am glad that I found Chris. If you are in Orange Park and don't want to pay jacked up prices at Inksmith or get shitty services or LIED to by PJ at Bent Needle, go to the man Chris at Fantasy Tattoo...he will set you up and do you right. read more

I freaking love this place. Morgan has done two of my tattoos and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She's calm and very sweet. Her line work is so steady, it's almost freaky. She's crazy talented. This is a great shop. Only issue I had was that I paid for my back piece up front and my artist was fired half way through so I didn't even get it finished. I paid $600 and only got half the work. The new artists there seem to do nice work but I would never pay in full up front again. read more

This place isn't horrible but I am VERY unhappy about the service I received! I was given an artist and he seemed okay. I told him I was going home to eat and I'd be back in an hour to start the tattoo. I told him exactly what I wanted as a cover up back piece. I knew it would be difficult but every time I said something he told me he couldn't do it so I gave him a theme and he worked with it. I got back an hour later to start and I didn't really like the design but he talked me into it.. all I was thinking was "He's a professional. He knows better than I do.". I then sat and let him work. He got the outline half done and told me we would do the rest of the outline in three weeks. I came back in three weeks and he didn't finish the outline. He just started to color. I said okay because he told me we would do the rest in another three weeks or so. I again went with it. I came back a two weeks later to get the outline finished and he was no longer working there! I payed him in advance because he said it would take a few sessions. I then had to go to Chris who said he could only finish coloring it in and wasn't going to add to it. So because the other guy didn't do the outline I payed way more than I should! The tattoo is missing spots of color all over , you can completely see the old tattoo which was meant to be covered , and the color has faded so bad! I went and showed the people at Harris ink and they even said it was horrible work and I got screwed and over paid. I have tried many times to go into Fantasy and talk with the owner to see if they could do anything to fix it and they refuse. All they said I could do is pay 200$ an hour to get it fixed! You want me to pay you to fix something you messed up? Are you crazy?! I now advise everyone I know to never go there. I'm sure they do great work .. on other people but not me. read more
