After months of impatiently waiting, I walked away with a beautiful tattoo. The shop is way out in Orange Park, which is somewhat unfamiliar territory to me. You walk in to a clean, modern and professional tattoo shop. I filled out a one page release, met my artist, saw the design, and took a seat. Granted, this was my first tattoo. I truly had no idea what to expect regarding my pain tolerance. More significantly, I was anxious how the finished product would turn out. Thankfully, I was in the best of hands, as Myra blew my expectations out of the water! All I'll say is that this tattoo has a deeply personal meaning behind it, and I'm honored Myra took my feelings to heart, all while drawing a killer design and applying it perfectly. As we were preparing to leave, my grandson suggested purchasing a less expensive pair of earrings instead. In response, I began to tell him that she had informed me that I could only choose earrings from a specific section. Before I had finished speaking, the associate interrupted and stated that she was not a "she." I was surprised by this correction, as I had no prior knowledge of the associate's preferred pronouns. Based on their appearance, including a floral blazer, shoulder-length curly hair, and a voice that I perceived as feminine, I had assumed they were female. There was no intention on my part to be disrespectful or offensive. Feeling uncomfortable with the interaction, I initially left the store. However, I later returned because I did not want the associate to believe I had intended any offense. I apologized and explained that my assumption had been unintentional. I also expressed that I did not think the discussion was appropriate to have in front of my grandson. The associate responded by saying that my grandson "had to learn someday." I felt that decisions regarding when and how such topics are discussed with my grandchild should be left to me and his parents rather than a store employee. The matter was subsequently brought to the attention of a manager. After discussing the situation, the manager supported the associate's handling of the interaction and their decision to discuss their gender identity in front of my grandson while then after saying not to come back. This left me dissatisfied with how the situation was addressed and with my overall experience at the store.

Didn't happen. The lady working there, 50-ish with a tiny "managerial looking" pony tail, not only was extremely rude and insulting to me, but proceeded to lecture me on my body jewelry choices. I mean really, her job is to sell things to customers, not to make lifestyle demands upon other people. Luckily, I'm nicer than she, and just walked away instead of treating her the same way she treated me, but I will never be back.

The staff at Fantasy is amazing. I had gotten my nipples pierced at another tattoo shop in orange park and a few days later was having severe abnormal bruising. I tried to get in touch with who pierced me and was unable to so I called Fantasy hoping I could get some reassurance it was normal. It was close to closing time and the guys were nice enough to wait for me before they closed so they could give me their opinion on what was going on. Both piercers assured me while it was certainly not normal it wasn't something to completely freak out about or go to the hospital right away. They advised to leave it alone unless it began to get any worse then go be seen. I'm very thankful they took time out of their day to help me since they definitely did not have to. They were correct and the bruising did go away completely like two weeks later. Will only go to Fantasy for any further work. Thank you guys!! read more

So charley helped me tonight. I had a bad tattoo job after drinking at a friend's house. And charley got me in at 8pm and worked till 11pm way after closing.. Great guy great conversation and very friendly.. Almost like you've known him for years... Needless to say charley fixed my bad tattoo job and gave me something amazing!! A awesome cover up.. Had both my nipples pierced by Chad today and he did an awesome job! Chad was friendly and professional, also he didn't mess around. I had a nipple pierced a long time ago (removed shortly after b/c of accident that almost pulled it out) and remembered how painful it was to have a piercing in this location. Chad did both nipples as fast as he could; as to not make me suffer any more than necessary. If you are looking for a piercing, I highly recommend you visit Fantasy Tattoo & Piercing Shop! I've gone to this shop many times and they always do a fantastic job. Whether it be a piercing or a tattoo, the results are always amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly! Alec was a fun conversationalist and very funny which was a good distraction while getting my first tattoo done. And as always, Tree is so kind and sweet and his work is amazing! Ive gotten my septum pierced by him as well as my second earlobe piercing and my double helix! He is always down to help out whenever I had trouble with the piercing and always caters to my wants! I went in one night on a whim for some ink. I cant remember the artists make now but he was absolutely pleasing and a joy to collaborate with on the idea I had in my head and getting it on paper and then onto me. It was a very nice to have an artist you can sit and laugh with and have conversation. Other artists came in to check on us and see if we needed any beverages. I went in to get a naval piercing. I spoke with Tree and he told me I didn't have the anatomy that would keep the piecing. He was so sweet. He told me he could do it but it would reject later down the road. He was so honest and so sweet at the same time. I've gotten other piercings here and they are amazing!! You can tell he truly cares about his clients and he's not doing it just for the money. I haven't gotten any tattoos from here but I would definitely recommend for piercings!! read more

I've had my nipples, nose and a dermal done here. The most recent was a few days ago (my dermal). The interior of the shop is extremely high-end and upscale. The artists are awesome and talkative/polite, and Dave the owner is the most gentle piercer I've ever experienced (and believe me, I have had so many piercings throughout the past 10 years). I've been to many tattoos shops in the greater Orange Park/Middleburg area. This by far is one of the best! (Malicia in particular is an amazing artist; she's done nearly all of my sleeve.) I went in to get a tattoo from Chris. The staff there took ten minutes to get up off of the couch and acknowledge me. When the woman finally spoke to me, she said that Chris was not there anymore.
