There are a number of stores that have 24-hour service, but most stores do not. This store at Westmount and Ottawa in Kitchener is only open until 11 pm on most nights, so a long walk to the nearest 24-hour store at Fischer-Hallman and Ottawa is required when the store is closed. Prices are high and selection is limited, but it is a convenience store, so that much is to be expected. Service is OK, but when it's busy there can be a long wait at the cash while the lone cashier checks you out. When it's cold out, or when you are tired, needing to go to the 24-hour store farther away keeps me from giving this location more stars.

I waited over half hour one time and the guy only came out because I got fed up and called the store. Tonight I came to the window and the employee unprofessional just stood there texting on his phone, he took five minutes before he open the window just to tell me that his till was "stuck". He said he would be 20 minutes. I never had a problem with them during the mornings or afternoon, it's only during the night shift and I'm so fed up with the horrible service. Anyone can just fill gas and run with how terrible the service is. Please hire new night crew I'm so tired of this bullshit
