I don't have words to express my gratitude and the remarkable experience I had being the patient of Dr Pourghasemi. I have a bad habit of cutting my nails too short. As a result, I have seen a lot of podiatrists over my life. Among them, I can confidently say that Dr Pourghasemi is the best doctor you can have for ingrown toenails removal. I recently went to Dr Pourghasemi thinking that I possibly broke/fractured my right big toe (I do have bunions). I wanted to get a 2nd opinion as I've been visiting another Dr for orthotics, etc. Dr Pourghasemi is VERY patient and a very great listener. She will recommend what is right for YOU (NOT one size fits all). As luck will have it, I did get gout (due to dehyradration and consuming Creatine). I will have follow-up visits to ensure future flare-ups do not occur. This is not to say that Creatine is a bad supplement. It's just that I did not fully hyrdate myself sufficiently. If you are seeking timely medical advice for any foot issues, come visit this office. The front office is also extremely friendly and accommodating. I saw Dr. Pourghasemi several years ago when I suddenly broke both of my feet without knowing how it happened. After two years of misdiagnosed attempts to identify my neuropathy , I finally found a doctor that accurately identified my issue. Despite a colleague advising her to simply cut my feet off, Dr. Pourghasemi took on the challenge of repairing my feet and aside from the noticeable deformity I'm able to walk with some issues due to nerve damage. What an amazing experience. Possibly the best specialist doctor experience I've ever seen. We were leaving for a trip the next morning and our daughter had a very painful ingrown toenail. We didn't want to leave the next morning with her in pain. Mind you this is less than a week before Christmas. Dr Pourghasemi was willing to see us on a very short notice despite having to leave for the holidays herself. She could have easily said there is no time. Instead, she was willing to help without worrying first about insurance (which we have of course) or other details. The care and the desire to help as a pure doctor helping others seems to have become secondary to the business side. Dr. Faranak is Great. Very caring and professional. I took my 86 years old mother who had severe pain in her feet because of hammer toes and multiple calluses. I am so glad that I found Dr. Pourghasemi. I had a small cut on the side of my left foot for a few weeks which turned into some kind of infection. Eventually, I started having problems walking due to the pain I got with that small cut. I knew I needed to do something about it before it got worse. I searched on Yelp and found Dr. Pourghasemi, whose practice is nearby my home and who has a lot of positive reviews. I took the chance and visited Dr. Pourghasemi's office. It turns out the Dr. is a very gentle doctor and treated my wound with care. After the first visit, the pain had reduced quite a bit and I am sure that the wound will eventually heal. I saw her for the second time today and she assured me that my wound will heal in a few more days. I am looking forward to walking in my normal self again. Don't wait. After months of foot pain, I decided it was time to see a podiatrist where I came across her. Her office is so welcoming and her staff is so friendly.  After she took the time to truly understand the pain I was in and to find the most cost-effective and comfortable solution for me. gave me recommendations for great shoes and exercises to do at home which have helped so much. Friendly, excellent technical explanation of my foot pain and the ability to come up with a solution to help made my visit fantastic. Dr. Pourghasemi has been our family podiatrist for more more than 5 years. She is kind, caring and knowledgeable. I recently had a visit with her for painful ingrown toenail infection. She removed the infection so proficiently with no oral antibiotics and with minimal pain while informing me of medical procedures and natural remedies for this issue.
