Trip of a Lifetime -- Exceptional From Beginning to End
My…read morehusband and I traveled from the United States to Egypt for the first time, and our experience with Hesham Egypt Tours through TripToGo was absolutely incredible. We could not have been happier with the organization, communication, safety, accommodations, and care we received throughout our journey.
The true highlight, however, was our guide, Yasser. His knowledge was extraordinary. He didn't simply show us pyramids, temples, and historical sites--he took us on a journey through thousands upon thousands of years of Egyptian history. He connected the history, rulers, religion, architecture, symbolism, and culture in a way that made everything come alive. There were so many moments when my husband and I just looked at each other amazed by how much knowledge he carried.
Yasser never rushed us and never left out the details. He answered every question and made sure we understood what we were seeing. Because of him, we didn't feel like we simply visited Egypt--we felt like we truly learned about it.
Hashem was also consistently checking in and making sure his team was delivering a world-class experience. We always felt cared for and knew exactly what was happening next.
Our trip included the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, incredible temples, Abu Simbel, the Nile cruise, Luxor, and time relaxing in Hurghada on the Red Sea. Every destination felt completely different and unforgettable.
One recommendation: prepare for early mornings! Egypt is hot, and those early starts allow you to experience the sites before the strongest heat of the day. There is a lot of walking and some long days, but it is completely worth it. By evening, your eyes and mind are still processing everything you experienced that day!
There was still plenty of time to relax. We enjoyed entertainment at our hotels, aboard the Nile cruise, and at our resort in Hurghada. One of our favorite memories was simply sitting on the upper deck of the Nile cruise, watching Egypt pass by while enjoying cold beers beside the pool.
We highly recommend upgrading to the deluxe accommodations. After long touring days, having beautiful, comfortable hotels and a luxury Nile cruise made such a difference.
Transportation was also incredibly well organized. The buses were comfortable with reclining seats, and when flights were involved, the team helped guide us through the airports. We never felt lost or left alone. They provide an itinerary ahead of time and then give you more details as each day approaches, so you can relax and let them handle the logistics.
Most importantly, we felt extremely safe throughout our trip. As first-time visitors from America, that meant a lot to us.
The team also made sure we had opportunities to experience local Egyptian cuisine, and some of those meals were among the best food we had during our entire trip.
The only activity we were unable to do was the hot-air balloon ride because Egyptian aviation authorities did not provide clearance for the flight that morning. That was completely outside the tour company's control and did not take away from our experience whatsoever.
We came to Egypt expecting to see pyramids, temples, and the Nile. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the country, its history, its people, and its culture.
I cannot recommend Hesham Egypt Tours, Yasser, and TripToGo enough. We felt cared for every step of the way, and we would absolutely travel with this group again.
