Apparently driving without insurance is frowned upon by the government, so here we are. Calling insurance companies usually goes like this: "Press 1 if you're crying." "Press 2 if you're crying harder." "Press 3 if you'd like to be transferred to someone who's at lunch." So imagine my shock when I got Hannan (i think that's her name) This woman answered the phone like she had one crazy goal: actually helping me!!!! I kept waiting for the catch. "Before I help you, would you like to bundle your soul with your deductible?" Nope, She fixed everything, explained everything, and somehow made me leave the call happier than when I called. That's not customer service. That's witchcraft. If Hannan told me the deductible was three goats and a rotisserie chicken, I'd probably just ask what kind of seasoning she preferred. State Farm has been advertising Jake for years. Respectfully, Jake needs to move over. Hannan is the main character now. Jake should be in the break room making her a latte and asking if she needs anything. She deserves a raise, a corner office, and diplomatic immunity. The first insurance agent who's ever made me think, "You know what, maybe insurance isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to me." I would give her my 2 fat kids honestly, they are fictional, but she would take care of them.

We have pics/videos uploaded to prove otherwise. Regardless of the denial, Throughout the entire process David Brown and the folks answering the phone in the office have just deflected blame to the adjusters. Very very poor communication. I was able to talk personally to David at the beginning then he stopped answering. We always thought we had great insurance, huge blind spot for us and lesson learned. If you are shopping I would stay away.

I wish the previous agent had been keeping up with our current needs but that wasn't the case. When Lauren found out what happened, she immediately filed a claim to rehouse us due to the construction needs and was extremely proactive and even met with me to update policy needs as well as putting in a plan to add adequate and appropriate coverage for the future. She wasn't just about signing up for a contract but actually cares about each person's/family's needs.
