I…read morespent twenty odd minutes looking around for hedging plants and clearly needed some assistance. Not one staff member approached and none were seen to be asked. Finally, I made a purchase But decided to also purchase 5 more . I wentt to the 'till' and was met by a 'frosty' person whom I asked if my choice would make good hedging plants. Reluctant, i received a poor attempt off an answer but still not put off i decided to proceed with my purchase. The person asked me to bring the 5 medium large plants to her to look at. I wasn' t sure what this meant but i didnt want to bring the plants to her, which were very near my car some 50 metres away, in case for whatever reason there was something wrong with them. So, i asked if we could go to look at the plants, but she refused in a defiant manner, saying, "i am the owner" to which i said "i am the customer!". Clearly, this had no meaning to her! You are right to assume that i left without making the additional purchases, never to return. There are quite a few garden centres around Ashtead, so i am shocked of her arrogant attitude.
