Alrighty, this review is for all you tourists out there…read more Imagine you're in town, and suddenly get sick, or are in need of prescription meds, or are just in need of medical attention and don't have a lot of cash on you. Alls you needs is to find one of these pharmacies. The beauty of these pharmacies is that they are all over town, and they all have a legit doctor in the back, ready to take you in and check you out. No insurance? No problem! The basic medical consultation costs 45 pesos, which is roughly 3dlls. I only went there for a sore throat, so I was in and out in under 30 mins. To make things better, all of the meds they sell are generics, which obviously means that they'll be cheaper than commercial brands. I was prescribed cough syrup, antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds. My entire bill, including the medical consultation, was 180 pesos (13 dlls) Not bad, eh? I went there this morning, and I'm already feeling a lot better.

Several of the employees, who I understand are family members, are English-speaking which is quite helpful por que mi espanol is severely lacking. (I wish it weren't the case but sadly, it is.)They always show me the precise price, offer generics or products made by the same manufacturer in Mexico, suggest how to best get a prescription for controlled meds, and are extremely courteous and respectful. I have found among other treasures that they sell a certain name-brand, popular, male, sexual product cheaper than likely anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. If that isn't enough to get your engines running, nothing is, and I'm not even the one ingesting it!! They are ridiculously close to the actual border crossing and even they suggest taking a taxi after parking your vehicle in the U.S. and crossing though that's not always necessary for everyone. The ONLY reason I might not go there is that the trip to Tecate vs.Tijuana isn't a snap but the border generally is farrrrr quicker. As a pedestrian, Tecate is always a breeze to cross back into the U.S. but in a vehicle, there are variables to consider. There is no SENTRI lane for starters. Los medicamentos son de patente, si funcionan y son…read moreproductos vigentes no reciclados o no te ofrecen medicamento similar ya que lo que se es que ellos desean que te alivies a la primera, no batalles y que sigas confiando en ellos. La atencion super bien, son bilingues, saben mucho de medicamentos y de enfermedades. Tambien si no esta en sus manos aliviarlos los manda al doctor. Medicamentos a buen precio y son muy buenos, tienen servicio de valet parking y muy amables todos, muy cordiales con ganas de que te alivies. Super recomendado. Mucho mejor que las Roma y otras que estan por ahi cerca.
