Excellent pharmacy in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico because they are the only pharmacy whereby I feel that service and prices are not utterly chaotic and based on a number of factors that this "gringa" ain't privy to. Several of the employees, who I understand are family members, are English-speaking which is quite helpful por que mi espanol is severely lacking. (I wish it weren't the case but sadly, it is.)They always show me the precise price, offer generics or products made by the same manufacturer in Mexico, suggest how to best get a prescription for controlled meds, and are extremely courteous and respectful. I have found among other treasures that they sell a certain name-brand, popular, male, sexual product cheaper than likely anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. If that isn't enough to get your engines running, nothing is, and I'm not even the one ingesting it!! They are ridiculously close to the actual border crossing and even they suggest taking a taxi after parking your vehicle in the U.S. and crossing though that's not always necessary for everyone. The ONLY reason I might not go there is that the trip to Tecate vs.Tijuana isn't a snap but the border generally is farrrrr quicker. As a pedestrian, Tecate is always a breeze to cross back into the U.S. but in a vehicle, there are variables to consider. There is no SENTRI lane for starters.
