It's a smaller farm than nearby Johnson's Corner farm, and they don't grow any food to my knowledge, so it's much less crowded and chaotic, plus cheaper. You can't pick your own berries or apples or anything, but the hayride out to the "pumpkin patch" is fun to do in the fall, and there is enough to do besides pumpkin picking to stretch it into a full afternoon of inexpensive family friendly fun. They have a playground, goats and alpacas, a small maze, plus plenty of food and live music on the weekends. My girlfriend, 11-year-old son and I recently tried their winter wonderland illuminated walking trail which they just started up in 2022. For the three of us, after taxes and fees, it was $57.90. It was a very pleasant night strolling the 1/4 mile trail filled with lights and christmas music, plus the several campfires set up at the end of the trail.

They definitely have a better selection compared to the place down the road which had only a Charlie Brown selection and this place appears to be planting replacements. Some of the largest trees were a bit bare on top but we found a good one despite it being much smaller than the 14 footer we had from the past couple of years. The staff was very nice and I was able to get a tree garbage bag to put over the tree to minimize the fall out spreading across the house when we toss it. I have only been once, and im probably not going back. They seem to be a huge garden center in the summer for all your gardening needs, unfortunately we don't garden lol! They do a great job with branding! Huge letters indicating where you are lol! I love their floral arrangement that spells out their name as well. Other than that, service is ok, nothing crazy, staff is friendly enough. They were doing a craft with kids, I was about to do it with my kids, but it had like 17 steps and they are 1 3 4 with short attention spans lol! So they wrote letters to santa and we left. This year with Covid, everyone wore masks and did a great job keeping everyone socially distanced while waiting for the trees, paying, loading the trees on the car etc. They really have the logistics down to a science here and the staff is always friendly! Most years there is a small table set up for cookies and hot cocoa, apple cider but it's understandable that they didn't do it this year. Our kids always have such great fun picking out our tree. The trees last several months and look great. If you want to pick out your trees but don't want to leave the city, this is a great option for city dwellers! I highly recommend Philly Christmas trees. About half an hour from Cherry Hill, the farm was easy to find with signage along the way. Once on the farm, the trees and service is located all the way in the back, there is plenty of parking. The farm provides a map that outlines the different types of trees and where to find them. The selection is great, they have everything from small ones to 18 foot trees. Once you find your tree, you bring your tag to the register and pay. The farmers then go cut your tree and load it on your car while you sit fireside and enjoy complementary cookies and hot chocolate.
