They overcharged a smidge for the tree too, my husband measured it to be 6 ft they said 7, I guess wouldn't have bothered us if the check out issue didn't occur. $90 for 7 foot. But the tree is gorgeous and holding up great. I recommend it for the selection and location. They have a small store and hot cocoa. They have some farm animals in the back too.

It is the gold standard, IMHO, as someone who has worked at farms and greenhouses over the course of decades, these are the people from whom I have sought counsel the most when. In New Jersey. Their plants are beautiful and healthy, and suited to local conditions because they are greenhosed on site by an expert horticulturist. The 'book learning' aspect of the son, Alan, is beautifully balanced by the depth and breadth of knowledge from Don himself, a local farmers with hands on experience and an ear to the ground, full of local lore. Now I can't speak for acreage or mileage but you can walk around for hours trying to find the right tree. Not really too many bad ones. Lupton keeps them trimmed perfectly and cuts, tractors them up to the checkout, shakes, drills and wraps it all up for you. You can even jump on and get a ride in and out of the field. All in all a full five stars. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, fire pit to warm up, service on point and even a port a potty when the urge may strike! What more can you ask for?

Instead, we went down to South Philly and got a fuller tree, about a foot taller, for $50. If you are stuck shopping for a tree in CC, this might be your best bet, but be aware you are paying for the convenience. If you're a budget shopper, there are better options.

They didn't care about one bit about this happening and were very rude. The selection is never great so finding another tree wasn't an option. There are many other farms with way better trees and customer service. Sad this happened and will not be back. They need to inform their employees about procedures instead of blaming the customers.
