It is unfortunate I have to leave a bad review, but it is deserved in this situation. I ordered a bouquet of sympathy flowers for a family member who suffered a great loss and I have to say I am disgraced at the way they showed up. First off, they arrived a day later than what I paid for them to be delivered. Second, many of the flowers arrived already dead. The bouquet I picked out online was much fuller and colorful than what was delivered. I have attached a photo of what it should have looked like. It was embarrassing to have sent a bouquet of flowers for the loss of a loved one that showed up with many dead. When sending flowers to someone who is grieving, the whole point is to brighten their day even for a second and let them know I am thinking of them. When many of the flowers are already dead, it is mortifying. Again, they were even delivered an entire day later than they should have been. I'd like to add that the house it was delivered to is local in the same town as this florist. I am very unhappy with my choice of choosing this florist. I tried to stay local to support a small business, but I have ordered from bigger companies such as 1-800-flowers in the past and had a better bouquet. This was definitely a let down. read more

I don't particularly like flowers so when planning for our wedding, we were thinking more greenery, wild leaves, and succulents. This is exactly what we got and I was in LOVE! Our wedding took place this past weekend at a venue called "Grounds for Sculpture". GFS is a huge outdoor sculpture park that is very eclectic in nature, filled with lots of flowers and trees, and was the start of our whole "let love grow" theme. When it came time to book a florist, we knew we wanted to stick with that theme but were open to ideas. We also decided to look at florist near the venue to be strategic and make sure nothing would stop them from getting to us. We found Petal Pushers, took a ride over and fell in love with the shop. Its eclectic itself and has a relaxing vibe that we felt at home in. We met with Karen, went over our ideas briefly, the price was right and we decided to give it a go. Even when I had to add on 3 extra tables and changed the shape of the centerpieces, they accommodated me and charged me accordingly. Boy am I glad we chose them! We showed Karen ideas but ultimately gave her leeway to come up with something green, wild, and natural looking. That's exactly what we got. My bouquet was amazing with a last minute flower addition. The girls bouquets were perfect. The centerpieces were unreal and everything I imaged for our big day. The greenery at the ceremony made the space and our sweetheart table was perfectly green. The boutonnieres also matched our bouquets and everything came together organically. I could not be more happy. It fit the venue perfectly, and more importantly, it fit US perfectly! I wasn't even aware the flowers were dropped off b/c I had a coordinator who handled everything, but when we were about to leave and I was given my bouquet, I felt my look was complete. Bottom Line: I would absolutely recommend and use Petal Pushers again. Thank you for making my wedding perfect! read more

If I could give more stars, I would! This is a group of incredibly talented florists who did the flowers for my wedding and made my dreams come true! Karen was SO easy to work with - I literally let her know what I needed and sent her a Pinterest board of my inspo and let her take over from there. She did the flowers for one of my best friend's weddings, so I had absolutely no issue putting my full trust in her. The flowers were delivered to my house the morning of and I was absolutely blown away with how incredibly stunning they were. I immediately had my bouquet pressed the following day and get to stare at it every day on my living room wall. Their prices were extremely reasonable and the best part was nothing had to be picked up/returned to them. We were dissapointed with the flowers we ordered for my father's funeral. We went there based on the recommendation of the funeral home. We odered a casket spray from my mom, a heart from my siblings and I, and sign that said "Nonno" (Grandfather in Italian) from all the grandchildren. We paid almost $900 and the flowers were terrible. The arrangements were smaller than expected and skimpy on the flowers. The sign was small and barely legible. Everytime I go to a funeral and see the big, beautiful, full casket sprays, hearts and signs, I'm reminded how sad the flowers for my dad were. read more

I went there, because it was on a whim. I wanted to do something on December of 2017, for former Hamilton Residents, one being someone who was so close as she used to write in my Yearbook at Notre Dame High School. When you are on the football field, your mind is on the game, you think of nothing else. every now and then at the age of 17 something happens you become human, when you hear your name or you date someone, your mind drifts all you can think about with her at the game is her. A girl saying " Hi Pete! " as you leave the field of battle hurt. You have achieved the ultimate praise, someone who says ' I like you, or good job! " Another is losing a game, all you can say is " I tried my best! ' I put a dozen beautiful Red Roses for two girls, who died days apart. Maggie McVeigh and Nancy Comfort Belonzi, both '79, people you knew since age 14, 43 years later the love is still there between classmates. Appreciate who you know now, because when they are gone you can't say " I love you! " to their face! The Grotto was well decorated at Notre Dame I have put enough money in that school, I don't need permission for people 4 years I adored. I ordered a "Medium" sized bouquet for my mother's birthday, and the actual amount of flowers was SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than the picture on the website. That wasn't what I expected, I might've did it a bit too late but still wasn't what I expected. I bought premium flowers for 70$ (online it states $85.83) for Valentine's Day, normal is 50$. I saw the flowers in person before they shipped it out and it was way smaller than what was showed on the site. Plus when I had went in person I had questions. I had asked how long the shelf life was, the freshness of the flowers. They had told it was about 1 1/2 weeks... it's been 4 days and it's dying, can see a lot of browning. It's been in the sun and has water. Another question I had was the time of arrival, they had said that the flowers will arrive before noon, it arrived at 5pm... had I known I wouldn't have bought from this place, they had told me before 12 and that was a huge majority for why I shopped at this store. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding which used Petal Pushers as the florist for the bouquets and boutonnieres. The flowers were pretty, but were not what had been ordered, as they included flowers/colors that the bride had written into the contract as "do not include" in the bouquets, and different flowers for the boutonnieres (roses instead of orchids). Additionally, the bride's bouquet was not a very full cascade, as she had ordered. As the wedding was on a Sunday, the shop was closed, and there was no way to contact them to see if they could correct their mistake before the wedding. They are now working with the bride to make amends, but obviously they will never be able to completely correct their mistake, as the wrong flowers were all we had at the wedding, and are in all of the photos. I would absolutely avoid using this florist for any important event. read more

CAN I GIVE ZERO STARS ??? Just picked up my granddaughter's ballet bouquet. I ordered a bouquet with flowers OTHER than roses. The whole bouquet was BROWN edged pink ROSES which were OPEN and ready to die. Also the filler flower was brown. I was told that they were so busy with 4 weddings and are short staffed. I don't really care. That kind of conversation should never have been shared with a customer. They wanted to make something else but quite frankly I don't trust them and have no time to wait. When I arrived at the recital my relative who works at a flower shop in NY was appalled at the bouquet. She encouraged me to ask for a refund as she feels this bouquet belongs in a cemetery. Because this is a very special day for me as a Grandmother , I felt upset most of the morning. This bouquet was SO very important to me for many reasons but obviously NOT to them. If you are not part of a wedding , they don't care about you, is that the issue ? Will go elsewhere next time. read more

I received a floral arrangement on my birthday 6/7 and this arrangement was $100 it was pretty the day I received it, but that was the one and only day they looked that way. Three days later on 6/10 the arrangement was practically dead. I would not use Petal Pushers again. They are way to expensive and their quality isn't that great. read more

Manager is sass mouthed; staff did not follow directions on a specific color of carnation I ordered and manager questioned my choice by telling me I was "obviously" not a florist. She kept talking over me when I was trying to get an answer. I paid with American Dollars for little or no effort, so follow directions! All I asked for were blue carnations to be poked into a light white and pink arrangement with a red rose. How do they know what the flower symbolized?! They made an assumption and substituted the blue carnation color for Burgandy/MAGENTA and called it purple, which made the arrangement laughable! If you order from this unprofessional organization send them a photo with flash cards of exactly what you want. Arrangement was dismal at best. Not worth the money. read more

This florist took the order for flowers that were for my father's funeral. The check was cashed the day before the funeral. No flowers were at the church when we arrived for the funeral. We called the florist, the order had been misplaced. They threw something together at the last minute and brought it to the church late. I was very disappointed. This is no way to operate a business. I purchased a dozen yellow roses for my Mom's 95th birthday and was very disappointed. The roses were fully opened with some petals looking as though they were about to fall off and some petals were curling under already on the morning I picked the flowers up. As my mom's birthday is the day after Thanksgiving I think the flowers were arranged in the vase on Wednesday due to the holiday and I picked them up on Friday. The shop itself is nice. However, when getting a quote for wedding day flowers, the price was more than quadrupled. Just because "wedding" is in the name, doesn't mean you can price gouge your potential customers. The price I got (didn't even get to bring home a written quote for discussion/review) was astronomical and more than the other 6 florists I went to. Not to mention, although I wanted certain types of flowers, the woman just HAD to add in her "personal" touch which I think caused the price to go up even more. Daisies and Roses are really not that expensive!!!! Petal Pushers came highly recommended by many people. However, they never used them for wedding flowers, only regular "deliver roses to my work" type flowers.
