We ordered a table here over two months ago. I still do not have it. The wrong one was delivered, and it has been a major battle trying to get it fixed. Nobody at the store seems to know what is going on. Every time I call with a question or go in there, they have to get six different people to try to figure out how to answer the simple question. There has been zero apologies for the incredible inconvenience this has caused. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the table I actually ordered or an apology from them, but I am sure I will never give them any more of my business! read more

I moved into my apartment last October and needed to get new mattresses. I bought the mattresses on credit. The mattresses are horrible quality which is not my fault. What is my fault is signing a contract that I didn't read where they are charging 25%interest. They also will hound the living shit out of you if you are even a day late. You will never get them paid off and they will take you to court. See if i give a crap. Take me to court so I can tell the judge how you unlawfully access my credit report with a hard credit inquiry every two months without my permission to even once check it much less 5 or 6 times. read more

I was in need of furniture last year during covid. I had just moved into my new home. My sister found Farmers Furniture on Wrightsboro Rd to be the only furniture store open. I bought a dining room, master bedroom & great room furnitures sets. I have had nothing but problems with my furnitire. I asked for all of my money back. Darrell would not give me my $$ back. The Chester cracked, king mattress sunk in, kitchen table became loose & shakey, kitchen chair are so uncomfortable, screws came out of them too. My 3k dollar sofa, a spring had broken in it. I'm still waiting for it to be fixed, blaming it on covid. Mattress replaced finally, now the other mattress is sunk in. Their Mr fix it guy Wayne, he's nice Has came to my house several times. They have one guy fixing your furniture for, Augusta, & many other stores. That's a shame. I did get the furniture on sale, but like I stated, where ever I went I was gonna pay cash. And that store manager Darrell he's a LIAR! I also found out he takes the prices down for certain folks. I will Urge Anybody, DONT SHOP AT FARMERS FURNITURE IN AUGUSTA ON WRIGHTSBORO Rd. I was in there recently. Nice selection of furniture, but the staff was VERY friendly and helpful! I did not buy anything yet, I am still shopping around, but everywhere I went, the staff was just not as helpful of friendly as these people. Horrible horrible choice! When I first purchased the couch, they kept giving me different dates for me to receive it.. it took almost 5 months!! Now, I haven't even had it a year, still making payments on it, and it's broke. I have no kids to jump on it, I take good care of my stuff. There is no reason why it should already be broke. Well they supposedly ordered the part and told me it would be here within the month.. here we are 3 months later and I'm still sitting here with a broke couch. We recently moved to Augusta, GA from Valdosta, GA. We have always bought furniture from Farmer's Furniture and after buying our first house we visited this store to purchase a new sofa. We recently sold our sectional sofa because it was too big for our new living room. We found one we really liked and make the purchase (6/26/15). I was told someone would contact me on the day it was to be delivered (7/27/15) to set up a time. I called the store that morning to find out what time the delivery truck usually runs. I was told their main truck comes around 11 AM and someone would contact me after they received their truck. I hadn't heard back so at 12:50 PM I called the store and was told their truck ran late and someone would be at my house around 2 PM. The delivery truck didn't make it to my house until after 4 PM that day. As the sofa was being brought in it snagged on the door jamb causing a tear in my new sofa. The delivery team made note of the incident and Cory took a photo with his phone. I took one as well for back up. I was told someone would contact me later that week to send Wayne out to stitch the tear. The week went on and when I hadn't heard back I contacted the store on Wednesday 8/5/15. The young girl who answered the phone did not have any idea about the situation and told me she would need to get my phone number and have someone call me back. Shortly after that Ken from the store warehouse called me and asked me to explain the situation. I told him it should be documented but explained again what was going on. He guaranteed that the replacement sofa had been ordered and would be on the truck that Friday 8/7/15 and someone would call me to set up the delivery time. Friday came and no phone call. I waited most of the morning to allow enough time for the main truck to arrive at the store. I called the store at 1:29 PM and Ken told me the truck had arrived and my sofa was there but they were not able to deliver it that day. I was told someone would call me the next day to set up a time. I expressed my frustration that each time I was to receive a phone call from the store no one would call and I would have to be the one to follow up. He apologized and said he would definitely call me the next day. Cory called me at 8:49 AM Saturday the 8th to be sure someone would be home and that they would be here around lunch time. I told him that was fine and we would be home. At 9:12 AM I received a phone call from Ken stating I was their first stop that morning and they would arrive within the hour. I told him that was even better! Unfortunately, they still came around lunch time and when asked why I was told I was the first stop they apologized and said there was a miscommunication. The sofas were swapped out without incident and they apologized again for the hassle and lack of communication with the store. This store has the worst customer service and I am sad that we could not have purchased this sofa from the Valdosta, GA location. The team in Valdosta, GA could run circles around the team in the Augusta, GA store. I understand things happen from time to time. However, when someone tells you that they will call to rectify the situation I expect to receive a phone call. This experience has been very frustrating to say the least and the people working in the store do not communicate or seem to know what is going on once the sale is complete. It seems their main focus is to sell furniture and once the customer leaves the store the relationship ends there. I will not buy another piece of furniture from this location. I will gladly wait four years when I graduate dental school and return home to buy from a store that knows what they are doing. read more

love the store and the people they treat me like family . my family has purchase furniture from them for over 34 years and love it .our whole house is full of Farmers Furniture livingroom , dinningroom ,4 bedrooms and family room . We have a loveseat and recliner that is over 30 years old and still looks great .It shows if you take care of your furniture it can last a long time . read more

If you are a customer of Farmer's Furniture, I recently learned they will refuse to take a "credit/debit" card over the phone prior to the 10th of each month just so they can add a late fee. I called to make a payment and was told they could not take it over the phone before the 11th but I could come into the store and make a payment. I told them I was trying to prevent from having a late fee added to my account and they told me it was "just the way our machine is set up." After the manager asked why I couldn't come in and I told him, he said "well, since you have a good reason then I will go ahead and take the payment." Yes, he use the same machine that he would have used if I had went into the store. I believe this is a scam to get more money out of customers by refusing their payment. Many people may not pay attention to this and agree to call back the next day but their actions cannot be legit. Something should be done because their late fee is $25.00 and the machine cannot recognize if a person is in person or on the phone. This is wrong for everyone, but especially for elderly that are on a fixed income and don't know that they are being taken advantage of. read more
