We needed to prep our sloping home site for construction of a house by having a mix of live and dead trees dropped in addition to clearing a large area of many saplings that had spouted from when the site was initially graded many years ago. The job was made more difficult by the presence of a large travel trailer and a shed, both of which needed to be avoided when dropping and processing the trees. The Hamby crews spent two days expertly dropping the trees, cutting them up, hauling them off, chipping the smaller-diameter trunks, limbs, and bundles of brush we had accumulated, cleaning up, and leaving us a nice pile of mulch for gardening. These guys were absolutely wonderful. They showed up on time; maintained good contact; worked fast, hard, and safely; could not have been more attentive to minimizing damage to near-by shrubs and trees, and were at all times courteous and pleasant to deal with. We will definitely call them for additional work when it is needed. Outstanding company!!

Chris Hamby came by and gave us a fair estimate to do the trees and take out most of the roots. I wasn't in a hurry but the crew came out yesterday and did a fantastic job on the trees, roots, and even cut back a branch from a tree in the nearby forest that was extending over our yard and scraping our house without charging us more. The team was professional, cleaned up everything and our yard looks fantastic, not to mention their reasonable price. I will never use another tree service.

When they originally quoted us it was $750 for fertilizer, seed, aerate the yard, put down straw mat, even out a space in the backyard that'sapproximately 30 x 75 and that's a guess. Then when they finished they tell us it's $850!! Omar stated the reason it was more was because they had to use more of the straw mat. That's not our problem if they underestimated how much they needed. They represent themselves as a landscape company. They should know what is needed or measure the area. We were also told that because they had to rent equipment to do what they stated they could do was part of the extra charge Why, as a landscape company to they not have the needed equipment!!! We had 2-3 bags of dirt we told them to use to fill in a couple of holes in our yard so they wouldn't have to buy dirt. That's where part of the extra charge came in. Just to empty 2-3 bags. Ridiculous!! Never again. We refused to pay the 850 and paid them $770. We had talked about getting them to some additional work, BUT NO WAY WILL THAT EVER HAPPEN!!!! CONSUMER BEWARE!!!
