When I called their customer service office, they claimed they sent a letter, which I did not receive. I requested that they cancel the policy immediately, but the representative said they couldn't. They would have to mail a cancellation form for me to sign & said they would request a refund, but probably would NOT get one. This is a sneaky underhanded company out to get your money no matter what. They don't want to cancel the policy & won't refund the money they are actually stealing from me. Beware, please do not buy a life insurance or any other kind of insurance policcy through Chesapeake Life.
