The title office gave me less than 36 hours of notice to get insurance for a "vacant land". I took a day off to call up my AAA, and many other insurance companies, no luck! The vacant land policy does not allow any structure on a "vacant land", homeowner insurance does not cover any non-livable structure, the course of construction cannot cover any land without an approved plan. I called up Patrick, he was very patient, there were many changes to the policies due to insufficient information provided by a third party. Eventually, Patrick found me one before the closing. We will not be able to make the closing without Patrick's effort.

He went to the United States Naval academy and I having gone to the United States Air Force Academy instantly respected him. While I remember my time at the Academy as being very difficult challenging and at most times, frustrating, I fondly remember what it was like dealing with people who have instilled the highest level of integrity. There's a statue of an eagle and fledgling in the honor garden at the Air Force Academy that always struck a cord with me because of the inscription, it's majesty and location. The inscription reads "Integrity without knowledge is weak and useless Knowledge without integrity is both dangerous and dreadful" I have found that outside of the military it can be very challenging to find men and women who feel this way. While it seems to me to be self evident, apparently not everyone places integrity at the level of importance I feel it deserves. Steve however does. Since we met last year I have had him meet with several of my clients to offer them financial advising, retirement and investment strategies, and of course life insurance. He is the absolute worst at handling business thoroughly. He doesn't return calls, or emails in a timely manner, and requires MULTIPLE reminders to even RESPOND to an initial email. My name on the policy has been spelled wrong for THREE years. Our corporation's name is also spelled incorrectly. I've requested our declaration 4 times and never received a response. Due to his lack of providing any type of customer service whatsoever, we decided to sign with State Farm whose agent is available ANYTIME we need him. Icing on the cake: I cancelled our workers compensation back in October and come to find out, to this day, we are still being charged even though he reassured me that we weren't. I went to cancel our entire policy two months again and I've never gotten A SINGLE RESPONSE from him!!!! Unbelievable! After spending 2+ hours on the phone with the Farmers Customer Service, they are now in the process of cancelling our entire policy. Farmers-get it together and get your agents on board to actually do their job!!!
