Amy Kaplans office has been by far the most inconsistent/uncommunicative agent I've had yet. I've been with them for about a year now. It feels like almost every month something is going on with my bill, and I have to call and get it situated. What's encouraging me to leave a 1 star review is is absolute lack of communication on their end. When I started my policy here, I initially only had one car on my policy. Then at the start of this year (23) I added an additional vehicle. It was only about a month I had 2 cars on my plan. I was never told because I had two cars on my policy that added a "multi car discount" onto my policy making my rate cheaper. At the end of January I took off one of my cars leaving only my truck on the policy. When I did this they never informed me that this would take that discount off making my rate more expensive. It's been about 4 months since I changed the policy and this month my bill went from $120 (full coverage) to $180. When I called to see why she told me I was no longer eligible for that discount AND they were going to back date my policy since I went about 4 months with that discount. This was NEVER communicated through out the process. This is not a good building block to build a relationship with a client that pays your bills. $60 is quite a significant jump when you are on a budget. I feel like this is a bad representation for a company and has put a bad taste in my mouth towards State Farm. I have switched my agent and will be looking around for a new provider. I'm quite disappointed, especially since I've been with this provider for so many years.

It was presented like I would pay a small co-pay but I wouldn't have to pay a deductible. It's all rambled off to you and makes you feel like you're getting a deal. My husband and I are finishing the IVF process so we have covered most of the cost out-of-pocket and knew if and when I became pregnant we needed coverage. My current insurance is okay but I was looking for something my fertility clinic covered and this was presented as a United affiliate. (The actual name of the insurance "sold" is US Health and when my card came this is the company listed) I Well, they are not really considered United according to the clinic they don't take it. I would have been hit with a huge bill! When the agent looked up my GYN and PCP doctors he said look see a green check you're good. If anyone is familiar with this process your constantly going in for something and one office needs this another needs that. I dodged a bullet! I am disputing a charge with my current insurance and from what it seems it's nothing compared to the horrors others are going through with this.
