There also isn't a cafe, which I think would be a fun addition if they ever plan on expanding or remodeling. The exhibits were wonderful though, and I thought for the price it was a great deal. I would not recommend Jack Rabbit Moving Service based on my experience. The service was…read moreunprofessional, poorly coordinated, and resulted in significant disruption and unexpected costs. I scheduled an 8:00 AM arrival and had already arranged a cleaning service to begin immediately after the move so I could vacate my apartment on time. The evening before, I was informed they needed to reschedule to 1:30 PM, which already disrupted my plans. Less than an hour before that rescheduled time, they again attempted to push the move to the next day or later in the evening. I made it clear that was not possible and was then told they would arrive around 5:00 PM. Despite that, they did not arrive at 5:00 PM and ultimately showed up about an hour later than that promised time. These repeated delays caused serious complications and additional fees, as I was required to be fully moved out that same day. My cleaning service was unable to complete their work as scheduled, resulting in additional costs and the need to hire another cleaner. I also had to physically assist with moving items while pregnant due to the delays, which placed unnecessary strain on me. When the movers arrived, they were unable to perform services that were previously discussed, including removing and remounting a TV stand, which resulted in me having to hire an outside handyman last minute at an additional cost. There were also billing issues. I was charged for shrink wrap that was never disclosed as an additional fee, despite having my own materials including shrink wrap they accidentally mistook as theirs. I was also charged for additional hours, with back-to-back invoices sent within minutes of each other, which caused confusion and resulted in an accidental overpayment before I realized the discrepancy. Overall, this experience resulted in avoidable financial losses, repeated scheduling failures, and a lack of accountability or resolution when concerns were raised. THEY DID REFUND ME THE ADDITIONAL HOUR I WAS CHARGED which is bare minimum and refunded me for the shrink wrap. However No compensation or corrective action was offered for the disruption caused. ****Things jack rabbit wanted to point out in my google review. I originally planned to move June 2nd but canceled on them 9:20 PM the night before. LIE 1- I booked with them may 31st at 8:37 PM, They have a cancellation or rescheduling policy that does allow you to reschedule which I did utilize because the home I was supposed to move into on the 2nd was in terrible condition and no place i'd want to move into. I was speaking to the landlord for over a week and the first day I could view it would be June 1st when tenants were gone, After viewing the place i could not move forward with it. I called and texted the moving company june 1st at 1:59 PM to tell them i had to hold off on a move out date. I found a new place later that night that i was able to move into and at 9:20 PM i stated i found a completely new place i would be able to move into. I asked if they could move me in the next day (tuesday june 2nd) or wednesday morning, I am not their employee and I do not know their schedule. If they could not accommodate me they had every right to say that and I would have found another moving company as that was plenty of time to do so. Instead they said they could do 8 AM june 3rd so I continued to plan accordingly. Like i said at 4:05 PM the night before moving I was told they had to reschedule me at 1:30 and I did my best to accommodate that although I had already booked a cleaning service and had a tight schedule. LIE #2 - They said I tipped their worker $40, i never tipped anyone. Their worker who we will call B for the sake of context told me they could not remove tv mounts or reinstall them so B referred me to another party that we will call D. D could remove the mounts and reinstall them. I paid D $100 and when it came time for payment D told me to send him $80 and send the referring person B the remaining $20. I paid electronically and can show proof of payment where I state what payment was for. Like i said this was an additional cost because the movers assured me they could disassemble and reassemble everything which i have screen shots where I told the company before booking or paying a deposit I would need my Tvs removed from the mounts and reinstalled on them and they told me, "Yes wr do it all". Via phone conversation they stated the were a flat hourly rate with no hidden feeds and they provide all things but they did charge me for shrink wrap without asking if i was ok with the additional cost of $60 when I had already purchased and had my own shrink wrap that they took with them! They are definitely a sketchy business and I would never do business with them again.
