According to the person I spoke with she is just the receptionist and will relay my message. Is this not an important test?? I mean it's the heart. Why is this not a priority with this office! When my daughter was in high school she had an issue with some swelling around her lip so we to her in and Dr. Ginnebaugh. He diagnosed her with the mrsa staph infection which can be extremely serious. He took quick action and because of that she avoided having to be hospitalized and the serious consequences that can come from that infection. I highly recommend him. Its hard to find a good family doctor that knows what they are doing.

One employee in particular is very aggressive, argumentative and unprofessional. She has literarily screamed at me over the phone and once hung up on me at closing time. This pattern of abusive behavior continued with her even using a false first name when speaking with me. I finally had enough abuse from this employee and called Dr. Winder to notify her of this employee's horrible behavior. This was in October of 2014. I had hoped to have a conversation with the doctor to let her know that two patients were going elsewhere. As of March 22, 2015, she has never contacted me. They are also inept at calling in simple refills on scripts for important medications like blood pressure, heart and anti-seizure meds. 8 of 10 times they do not follow through to the point that it had become a running joke with the Pharmacist and me. You should plan on a week or so before they "get around to it". If you're looking to hear excuses from your physician's office, then this is your place.

I have gone to Dr G for a long time and she has provided good care. However, I know she is going to retire soon. It has gotten very busy there. When I called to schedule my appointment the phone contact wasn't very nice because I had to cancel a previous appointment. I went in with 3 problems. One, pain in my foot. It had hurt for several weeks. She said it was arthritis so we'll just keep an eye on it. Huh? Pain is pain. The other was shoulder pain which was caused by another medication I was on which went into a long discussion of why they won't prescribe the med I once used that used to work to help me sleep. Now they prescribe sleeping pills that cause agitation and muscle tension. She talked so much about why she couldn't prescribe what I wanted that she never addressed my shoulder pain. My shoulder still wakes me up at night. I was so upset and worn out by that point that I forgot about addressing my shoulder.
