I was referred to this company by someone in the building trades. My guess is they worked together on commercial projects, as that seemed to be more the focus of Farrell. The owner responded quickly, gave a price that is within the reasonable range from what I read online, and scheduled the work quickly. The crew were great, moving furniture that would not fit through the interior doorway in my house to the yard, even taking the door off its hinges and putting it back again when they were done. They covered the walls and floor to keep everything clean and removed all their debris when they were done. Some of the work was subcontracted and both sets of workers were at my home for early morning appointments so I would not have to miss too much work. They were efficient and while I am no expert the work looks good quality. Several things made me think they are more geared to commercial work. They split the bill into two equal parts, each below $1000, the state threshold requiring a written contract, but the plastering crew was more than twice as large and here twice as long, so I think that was not the real split, and was done to cut down on paperwork since it is a small job they fit in around other work. I think someone who specializes in residential work would have given an estimate/contract via email rather than a price via text, given paperwork including a statement of warranty coverage, and would not have asked for payment in full before the work was done. (They got it after the fact.)
