It's just north of Charlotte and it's a really lovely facility for the distant suburbs of this important city in North Carolina. Everything looks brand new and the gym and cardio and showers are all pretty good. This leaves the area concentrated around the heavy weights and complex fitness equipment partially dark during the entire evening hours. I asked the front desk staff if they could leave the lights on since there were many patrons and staff still using the facility and they vehemently denied saying they were instructed to turn off the lights every night regardless. I asked if it was an unreasonable request to leave the lights on during business hours and they said I was "elitist" for making such a request. Forget the fact that it's disrespectful to turn the lights off on customers while they use a facility, but it is unsafe or possibly downright dangerous to leave a partially dark fitness center while both staff and members are in it.
