When I had to go for an x-ray after a spectacularly clumsy moment involving my practically tripping over myself, the radiologist who saw to me was an absolute star. I was in a fair bit of pain and she was really gentle and reassuring, helping to tie the gown at my back and escorting me into the x-ray department. It can be a little daunting with all the huge expensive looking machines looming over you so I was very glad to have the presence of a lovely radiographer. The hospital in general is thankful very clean and the staff is always happy to help. My only issue is the car parking tat is extremely expensive but I know this has nothing to do with the hospital itself.

All staff are helpful and extremely friendly, the coffee shop is a good stop with lovely food, however, if necessary you can go up to the 2nd floor restaurant where you can get a range of proper tasty meals.

I have not had a problem here…read more Obviously at times there are delays in seeing the drs when they run late, which is annoying If I ring at 8am i can usually get an appointment on the same day. They also do thursday evening clinics and saturday morning clinics. the receptionists can be miserable though!

So I get sent here if I need an appointment but Cliffe avenue is full that day. It's a good doctors, the staff are good and I rarely have any problems here. Waiting times can be quite high though as its very popular.

From the start the staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. From deciding a operation was required to having the op it took eight days which is great if like me the less time you have to mull over it the better. The rooms are large with personal bathrooms and a TV, in all honesty Ive stayed in smaller hotel rooms. The facilities as you would expect are excellent. I would recommend this hospital to anyone

The consultant is very professional, friendly and courteous, and so far I've been very impressed with the whole experience, from the free car park (get in), to the cups and saucers in the (carpeted) waiting room, to the fact that everything runs smoothly and to schedule. No massive waits, everyone's cheery. I've got to go back for an MRI scan and a follow up appointment so will update accordingly! Go Spires!

There are many female doctors which gives the impression this place is geared towards females needs. They are swift to get you an appointment but the Doctors are sometimes a little brisk perhaps lacking bedside manner. As seems to be the case with many doctors and nurses now ask for their help and they'll turn to their computer look something up on the net and print it off and pass it over to you.

The doctors are very good, friendly and easy to talk to you don't get the feeling that they are above you. Getting appointments is really easy no long waits, and on the day of your appointment it dosen't seem like they are constantly running behind like some practices!. Theres a small play area for the children to keep entertained while you wait, and plenty of seating available too, it's clean and very accesible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The parking is good too its never really full so you won't worry about finiding a space. I really can't fault them.

Set aside the receptionist, not because they are unimportant but because doctor's receptionists seem to be universally obstructive, it's part of the training and I'm not about to knock stars off just because the receptionists are well trained and besides, they have one of those nifty touch screen thingies to check in so you don't have to talk to the receptionist much ;) The waiting area here is pleasant (as waiting areas go) and there are magazines (surprise, surprise) and an info-monitor. Getting down to the important stuff though, the doctors here are, in the main, pleasant and skilled (I have felt personally valued and supported and owe a massive debt of gratitude for the early diagnosis of a serious illness within my family)
