Very busy office. Lots of people in pain. Sad really. But, ME? Even with several bulging discs on spine and in lower back and neck...at 61, I'm doing better than most at my age (per the Dr). Dr Lall is probably in his 30's and very friendly. I like him and would see him again.

The doctor who ordered the MRI told me she felt like I needed to see a surgeon at this point because it's been 15 years of pain, and my problems are getting worse every year. I have tried everything. Literally everything to help my pain. I have spent so much money in pain management. All they did for me today was give me pain pills which I didn't want at all bc I can't even take them at work. I want it fixed. Not a bandaid. He said my extreme pain was "Headaches." Really? I know my own body and this isn't a headache or even a migraine. I wasted $100 and time off my job to be pushed off to another doctor. Yet again. I have been doing this dance from spinal to neuro, to spinal to neuro. I felt 0 sympathy or validation, like I was just another $. The only people who were nice to me were his PA, and the assistants. They were kind and actually listened. They validated my concerns. He referred me to neurology. When I asked him what they could do, he shrugged and said "I don't know, I'm not a neurologist." Don't waste your time or money.

I have been to several doctors (three) over the years to have this issue resolved. In general, all of the doctors said that this problem could not be permanently fixed, but they could help me manage my pain. I will never know if I was responsible for not getting the care I needed because I chose doctors with the wrong medical specialties, nevertheless less I decided to take a different approach. I called Dr Mark Prasarn an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. After Speaking with Dr. Prasarn, I left his office feeling inspired. Nothing was fixed yet, but I was filled with hope. Dr. Prasarn said the cause of my back pain was Spondilolithesis. He also said that it wasn't as bad as some others that he has seen in the past and that the surgery could fix my problem. I really appreciate the fact that he spent a considerable amount of time with me that day. Dr. Prasarn has a very methodical approach regarding care. He first recommended that I try physical therapy, if there was little to no change in my pain level we would then move on to pain management. If the pain level persists, we would try surgery. It is good game plan for him to start with the least invasive strategies until he could provide a decision that matched my personal needs. I did eventually have surgery. After just two weeks from the day of my surgery the pain was completely gone. I waited four months to write this review because I wanted to see if there would be any recurring issues concerning my back pain. I am happy to report that I feel great!! I have not experienced any pain (nothing!). For me this surgery has been life changing. I can't tell you all the special accommodations that were made for me just to take a walk. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Prasarn a very good doctor and really a very nice person. He has the credentials and it is very obvious that he has a strong desire for helping people. For me, he was just the right person at the right time. I highly recommend Dr. Prasarn if you are experiencing any back pain that requires professional help

Crazy expensive I recommend looking somewhere else. I went to the one in Houston 4 months ago for a steriod shot and total cose was 600.00 They couldn't explain why this one so much more they just added stuff I didn't need. Like an ultra sound to show where to put the shot. Really?

I moved from another pain management that was too far.. I have long term issues. I see lots…read morespecialist for lots joint damage. But i am required to see pain management for any pain treatment. So i went and was prescribed a med that didnt work. Went back for follow up. Said that didn't work.. We discussed my continued follow up with my ortho. But nothing for pain. Just sent home with no treatment plan, no follow-up.. Nothing. So what do i do now.. Go find another pain management and say I have an orthopedist to fix the orthopedic problem but I have to have you fix the pain problem. ​I mean I don't understand where to go from here. ​I was with my last pain management for 15 years before they moved to a location further from me. So this is brand new for me to start new with the doctor and they're not getting my concerns. I guess. So I don't think I'm going to be able to return because nothing is happening here there's no plan . He has explained  in great depth what my condition is so that I can understand. I have something called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.  I have never heard of this, so he has educated me on it a lot. He does not give you false hope. If it's a 50/50 chance he lets you know. When it comes to blocks. He's not a pill pusher. I like that about him. He does try procedures first.  He takes all the time you need with him until you understand the procedures and process of how he's going to treat you. You will not find a better Dr. The office staff is extremely nice and helpful. Everyone always says hi and ask how  I'm doing or if I need anything I would definitely recommend Dr Garcia if you have any kind of pain. He genuinely cares for his patients.

I was in the room waiting for him and he finally comes in and I could tell he was in a hurry from all the patience's sitting out front. After talking to the "doctor" his diagnosis was "there is something wrong with you, so you're not crazy, but nothing I can do" this is 2021 so what you're really telling me is there is no doctor out there that can help me. His plan for me is to take medicine and injections from a pain relief doctor for the rest of my life. Since he had his hand on the door the whole time, lol. He never said bye or thanks for coming as a new patience Guess what, I will not accept this diagnosis. I will be going to a specialist downtown Houston, where I should have went all along.
