I was in on a Saturday and got good help. I like working with stainless steel fittings, you can tie it into bronze, brass, or galv systems, and will likely be the last fitting you install. But this isn't about stainless as much as it is about Co-op HAVING stainless. I went in to the Agro Centre to get some galv fittings but saw that co-op had them in stainless steel. I was surprised to see it in a smaller town. Nice store, with contractor grade supplies available on a weekend.

i am new to this idea of leaving reviews for places that give good service/performance... or places…read morethat fail, but i know its always more satisfying to complain about something then it is to sing the praises... so i have to take a moment and give my opinion on winks and why i wont be going back here again. i love slurpee product... slushie or mr cool or whatever other name you want to call the frozen pop mix that most the convience gas stations offer up. My favorite flavor is root beer and most locations dont offer it because it stains the line. The winks in camrose does offer it though so they had me as a 100% customer most of the past couple summers. I had no other options where i could go to get the slurpee im addicted to... but even my addiction isnt enough to get me back to this location again. The main problem is the staff/family that owns the place. Even though they seem to attempt to be friendly to me half the time, they just come across weird and embarrassing to me. My issue is they have a posted sign that clearly says that they sell their slurpee for. If a cup is 1.5 liters the price is posted. I use a cup i purchased from 7-11... not because i am a fan of 7-11 but just because the cups winks sold themselves were less then a liter and i live far out of town and enjoy drinking slurpee on my trips home. so winks has a clearly posted sign saying what price they charge, but you cant get any of their staff to charge it. they claim the till isnt set up for it. this claim might be true, but then i say fix the damn till. you arent legally allowed to post a price and then not charge it. when i point this out.. they always give me the right price, but how often should i be forced to point it out? either take the sign down if they have no intention of honoring it... or get a key on their till so they can process me without embarrassing me in their lineups. as a point... i tried not to buy anything other then slurpee at this location just to protest my treatment, but i have at times been in a rush and decided to buy other products. i have never been overly satisfied with anything ive purchased here. their selection is inferior to 7-11. they never seem to have any hot foods available. their service is slow. the clerks are never at the till and take awhile to come over when you get to the till... and its not like they seem busy cleaning or anything. overall the cleanliness is decent for a convience store, but i suspect its the overnight crew that does all the cleaning because i never see the daytime crews cleaning. this winks locasion offers soft serve ice cream to be mixed into slurpees which i think is genius... but the last 10 times i asked for it, i think they only had the machine turned on once or twice. again, i feel this is there choice. if they dont want to give you ice cream in your slurpee then dont do it. dont advertise that it is available and trick someone into stopping to get it only to tell them its not available. for their business practices of not honoring their posted pricing or making avaiable products they claim will be available and for not having a good selection of alternative products and for being very highly priced even by convience store standards... i give this winks a 1 star rating and fully recommend you pass on giving it any of your own business. Maybe the next owners/management team will realize better that they actually have to honor their promises and stick to making promises they actually intend to honor. it sucks though... cause i really do like rootbeer slurpee and i just cant find it anywhere else :(
