BUT Circular's clothing and jewelry are so beyond just "better" than what you usually find in Anchorage. I really think it would be my go-to store if I still lived in Seattle or San Diego. It helps that the owner and employees are class acts- knowledgeable and never snotty. Ex: I ordered about 5 dresses from Revolve.com for Christmas parties this season, and none of them worked. I walked into Circular and within a few minutes had 3 excellent options, all of which were less expensive than the dresses I had ordered online. I'm so grateful Anchorage has this wonderful shop.

I will say given the quality, the clothes are a little over priced, but I have a hard time finding things that fit my stumpy legs, so I was pleased to find a very cute pair of pants at the $40 mark. If you're into really hardcore fetish stuff, you're out of luck. The only place in town that has that stuff is Castle, and even their selection is limited (and no, I'm not into fetish stuff... but I figured some people might wanna know, so I'm including this in my review for their benefit.) So if you're looking for any kind of S&M, swings, clamps, pony play, double ended toys, etc, your best bet is online. They do have a few things, but it's novelty quality and not what a person with serious fetishes would invest in. There are cameras everywhere. Security greets you at the door. They have cool pulley baskets to make your shopping easier. Their carts have technology that will not allow them to leave the store. It's definitely bilingual in here. Everything is translated into Spanish and the best part? Tons of Mexican snacks and candies all over. Also lots of plantain chips of all kinds.
