I'm pretty disappointed in how this place turned out. They have very little know how on designs, new trends, heck I'm even surprised they knew what coffin nails were.. I asked for gel acrylic.. It was like I had to keep explaining it over and over. I just feel like that's basic.. If you ask a question and they don't understand you will just get a yes. "Do you have acrylic? -what? Yes. Do you have gel? - what? Yes. Are there illegal immigrants in your kitchen cabinets hiding right now? - what? Yes." I'm not exaggerating. Very ridiculous. Asked for gel matte. It was like explaining the theory of relativity in Spanish to a 4 year old who absolutely positively does not speak Spanish. We finally get the matte finish understanding. She proceeds to badger me on how I should get shiny while she messes up my nails with what is supposed to be a matte finish but just looks like a glob of yogurt spread across my finger nail. She proceeds to freak out and ask me what to do 4 times. Like wtf I don't do nails why are you asking me what to do??? We finally agree to apply the reg nail polish matte. Instead of cleaning off the messed up matte, she puts a new coating on-top and then applies a matte. *sigh* That was Saturday.. Today is Tuesday and I am back because the nail she neglected to clean off the matte before applying a new coat is now peeling back (the gel polish that is). And there's one that just straight up peeled off. I listened to my Joel Osteen today so Lord knows I went in there in peace. Same lady (Tina) cleans off my nails now with alcohol. I ask her why the alcohol she says because my nails are dirty so the matte isn't showing. Whatever. She fixes the two damaged nails.. No charge of course... I'm not even gone from the shop 10 minutes when giant white streaks start to appear over the burgundy gel'd nails like lightning on a night sky. Done people. I am done. I went in, showed them my nails, told them it was unacceptable. They offered fix it for the 3rd time. At this point, why waste the time? My nail turned white this time, it might just fall off if I test fate with these people again... These people are just doing nails and hoping it doesn't go south. Smh. Never been so disappointed by any other nail shop.. Absolutely disappointing. I understand one issue or even two. But this place is a joke.. Update: Less than 5 days later.. This place has the worst customer service, Richard wants to do whatever he wants. I came in for a full acrylic set and what does he say, " oh no you don't need let's me just do gel polish" like really!!?? Then waxed my eyebrows and well fucked them up after me specifying what I wanted he continued to do his will and well my nails look horrible, all bumpy and uneven and so does my eyebrows. Will not recommend at all and definitely won't go back. read more

Took me as a walk in. Seated me with my feet soaking. That was the good part. Didn't tell me how long the wait would be. I left at half an hour. Communications? None. I suspect that's an indicator of attention to customers. read more

I love coming here . The staff is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. The tanning beds always have fresh bulbs, they are clean and the facilities are always up to date and available. read more

Horrible place horrible people in my opinion they started a pedicure when asked to do a better job on the heels they said no told me I'd have to come 3 or 4 times to do what I asked so I left and went directly to Sincerely Serenity Nail Salon in Hickory they did a great job and when I asked did it look like someone just did my feet 15 minutes ago she said no and couldn't believe anyone had done anything but maybe dunk my feet in water Fashion Nails wouldn't take my dog to them worst experience ever anyone who'd recommend this place needs to get out and explore the world or it's just fake owner recommendations maybe can't say but they don't know what's good for them read more

I don't even want to give a star but I will because I have to in order to write a review. First of all when me and my mom walked in they didn't greet us and handed us the nail polish remover so that we could take our polish off. That right off the bat was a turn off because where we normally go they take the polish off for you and don't charge. The other salon we go to was packed so we decided to try a new place. Well, we sat and took our polish off. Another lady was in front of us but we were okay with that because they weren't as busy as our normal salon. After waiting 10 minutes another customer comes in and asks one of the nail techs if they have time for a full in. That right off the bat told all of us in the room she didn't have an appointment. She sits down in the waiting chairs with us and 15 mins roll by. By this time another nail tech was free and took the last customer that walked in skipping me, my mom and the lady waiting before us. I assumed because she was a regular customer she took priority over us but I don't think that was right. The proper order of service is first come first serve like it is everywhere else. I just thought this was very rude and unprofessional. After this we went back to our normal salon and decided to wait because we did not want to give them any of our money. I am always observant anytime I go to a new salon. Not only that they can't sit in their chairs long enough to finish your nails. They hop from one customer to the other and stop and do other things while working on your nails. I will also say their polishs are kind of outdated and you won't find the variety of other polish colors or brands like OPI etc. I will NEVER go back to this salon and I don't recommend anyone else to either. read more
