Not only did they screw up my nails once, they screwed them up twice in the same appointment. $65 later and my nails look worse than if I had done them myself with a kit off Amazon. They are streaky and scratched to he** under the clear coat from being haphazardly buffed and don't even fit my fingers right. The first go around they were filed so badly they had to soak them off and start over. She argued with me for 5 min before finally passing me off to someone else. I ended up filing them at home because the 2nd lady was ignoring my pic and comments about filing them too angled too. Squoval is not coffin and it is not stiletto. First time coming here. As I waiting a man that works there pushed the cart of color selections with his foot towards me and walked away. I'd thought maybe if I do something short with a basic square shape nothing could go wrong but obviously I was wrong. I had to do a lot of coaching throughout the whole process of getting my nails done. I had to have her go back and apply acrylic to the spots that were missed. She left the left over acrylic under my nails and I had to have her get it out. She applied only one coat of polish and threw on a topcoat after. The colors had streaks due to rushing and only one coat. I had to explain why they looked that way and how to fix it, but I don't think she truly understood. She tried to her best ability to fix things but I was just not happy with the look over all and service throughout the whole time. They came out decent with a few flaws but I won't be returning. read more

Such a sad pedicure. No one ever speaks to you - I know there is a language barrier but at least they could say Hello How are you Thank you. The pedi I got, not the first time, was bad. One big toenail cut so short it is in the nailbed. The other big toenail barely cut - and what was cut was at an angle - so nothing matches. Trimming one of my smaller toes cut - too heavy handy - more concerned about the timer going off. Then sprayed the alcohol on the cut!!! I just can go back. read more

I would not recommend getting a pedicure here. I went in for a pedicure and chose the basic spa pedicure with regular polish. The nail tech skipped the lotion massage step of the pedicure (which is my favorite part) and gave me gel polish (adding 15$) which I did not request. I will not be returning. read more

I went in a week ago to have a new set of eyelash extensions. Emily took me to the back and I told her I wanted a hybrid set. First of all the online price says between $55-65 and shoe does not specify if it is a full set or fill in. She ended up charging me $115. Second she did not do any of the initial cleansing steps. It took her only 30 minutes where I have been getting extensions for 2 years now on and off it slat always takes at least 2 hours. Initially they looked ok but the room was rather dark and when I went home it looked as if I only had mascara on. They were scratchy and very hard almost crunchy like. I called the next day and explained the situation and she brought me back in too add more volume. It only took 10 minutes this time. And I gave up trying. At that point I called 2 days later after mulling it over and I was told that they had a new policy of no refunds/fixes but that was after the owner said that. Since Emily was not capable doing the cluster lashes I asked for a partial refund so I could just get them done elsewhere. I was told even though it had not been but a few days it did not matter they would do nothin. I am writing this post to stop anyone from getting lashes done by them. Honestly because the customer service and lack of quality was so terrible I would like to give this no stars but it is not possible. read more

Unfortunately I have been to this nail shop and twice I was treated very very poorly. Customer service was unacceptable as regard to my time and communication. They need more workers. Sad to say I was talked down as if I was a child. Took over two hours just to get my nails done. Not sure if they are prejudiced or just poorly trained as regarding proper customer service. I am new to the area but was not shown the southern hospitality I am accustomed to here in the Statesvile area. The absolute worst experience I've ever had getting a gel manicure. The young girl who did my nails was beyond awful. I had gel polish on my nails already, and she attempted to remove ALL of it with the Dremel tool they have. It was actually painful. She left bits of the old polish on my nails and painted over it even when I pointed it out to her. On top of all that, she was even talking on her cell phone at one point, until I interrupted her. No apologies whatsoever. And finally, she asked for a $30 payment, which I refused because the board on the wall says a gel manicure is $25, and of course, because she was horrific. To say that she cut corners would be an understatement. I completely regret not getting up and walking away in the beginning--getting your nails done should be enjoyable, not painful. It will take months for my nails to recover because she thoroughly destroyed them. read more

This is the ONLY place in Statesville I will get my nails done!! I have tried just about all of the nail places around, and this one is my favorite. We used to go to this salon back when the previous owners had it open, when it was beside PJ's, and it was really good back then too. Now, with the new owners, the staff is great, they always offer me something to drink when I sit down, and they are very patient and they speak GREAT English!! All of the nail techs I have ever had here, have been really personable, and SUPER nice. They take their time with everything. I have only had one problem, I asked for my nails to be square, and she proceeded to do her own thing, and make them round. I solved the issue by simply calling back the next day and telling them I would be back in that afternoon for a reshape, and they were perfect!! No charge at all!
