The negatives are the aloof feeling in the reception area, the seemingly continuous problems in the billing department and occasional aggravation of having to drive into downtown Tallahassee. All of the staff there are very professional and have helped me through this whole process with ease! I was in a car accident and even my own insurance company was against me and trying to give me the short end of the stick in every turn! Then I hired this outstanding law firm and that all changed. Immediately my truck was paid for when before that they wanted to give me 8,000 on a truck worth 3 times that much. Boom! They got me my full value and quick. Then Harry and Renee worked with me for every step until I got what I deserved. I am very happy with them and I would trust them for ANY case in the future. Also Jimmy Fasig came to my mediation just to make sure I was taken care of so having 2 attorneys behind me made me feel very appreciated and cared for. He also recommended a good movie for me to watch later on that night that turned out to be a great flic so that was just icing on the cake. Jimmy and Harry spent the afternoon between mediation just talking about regular conversation that showed they cared. Jimmy remembered me when I came back some 8 months after that and asked about my case and asked if I liked the movie he recommended. The entire team at Barrett, Fasig and Brooks, including support staff, are courteous, respectful and efficient. After meeting with the legal team, my case was reassigned to Attorney Carrie Roane and her bright and cheerful assistant, Brittany Jarvis, as my initial attorney went on emergency medical leave of absence. The transition was efficient, without delay of the legal process and their attention to detail was remarkable in my complicated three-car collision case. While a client I noted, not only myself, but everyone was treated with respect and as a valued client. I called them back, and asked the same person (on voicemail) to update me, and let me know what the plan was. They NEVER called back! so 4 days later, i called again, and a different person told they dont take "my type" injury claims at all. Very unprofessional! I was pregnant at the time and sustained the most injuries. We were fully insured by State Farm who refused to issue us our full benefits as well as canceled our policy. We lost our vehicle and we're unable to even replace it. The person who hit us got away with everything. Our lawyers refused to even pursue them. Our insurance company got away with not covering our bills. By the end of the lawsuit, we received a pathetically small check that in no way covered our bills. And the lawyer sent a portion of our money to other companies without our knowledge before issuing us what we were left with after their absurdly high fee. They did not follow up with any of our medical providers, the did not address our medical issues, and they were extremely hard to keep in contact with. We did more leg work for them than they did for us. I now spent my life in chronic pain with bad credit because of bills I cannot afford thanks to this law firm and their lack of commitment to my case. We could have received the exact same settlement if we had gone without these attorneys.
