We actually did not contact this company to tow our classic car, unfortunately his services were forced on us. The person that had the car against our wishes knew that we had AAA and that we preferred to call them but instead he called Frank ("a friend of his") to tow the car when we were not available to receive it or examine it when it was delivered. When the driver showed up at the shop he informed the mechanic that payment was needed (cash only ... wouldn't accept payment over the phone w/ a cc) the shop owner was just as shocked as we were since the original plan was to pick up the car on Friday not Wednesday. The shop owner was threatened that if a cash payment wasn't made that he would take the car back to his yard and charge us for storage. Thankfully the shop owner stepped up and made the payment allowing us to bring him cash later in the day. The driver claimed that he called the shop owner to confirm delivery and that a check would be there but that never happened. I called Frank directly asking for a receipt for the payment that we made and was told NO... he would only give a receipt to the person that called him and arranged the tow, and refuses to give a receipt to the shop owner that actually did pay him... that seems very unethical and extremely shady. I have never heard of a legit towing company that will tow a car knowing that the person that called for the tow isn't the owner of the vehicle, won't allow you to pay with a credit card and refuse to give you a receipt after demanding cash. Beware if you consider using this company, Frank didn't come off as an upstanding business owner by any means. doesn't deserve even one star but apparently its necessary in order to post. read more

I am a teacher and graduate student. Last week I was coming home from my night class and had a terrible migraine. I got into a minor crash with one of their tow trucks. I was very stressed out. My car is my lifeline, I cannot get by without it. The driver was so nice when he really didn't have any reason to be that nice to me. While my car had a decent amount of damage, his truck appeared to be fine. Later, the owner of the company called and said there was some minor damage to the truck, but not to worry about it because I'm a teacher and do such a good service and to just go take care of my car. I forgot to write a review about this towing company. Well, I work with this guy name Sam and works for a Towing Company called Fast 5 Towing. Well I can honestly say he is true to his word. One morning while heading out to work, I've notice my vehicle tire pressure was slowly depreciating (2006 Acura TL w/ Navi). And I totally forgot my bottle jack in the truck of my car. I was S.O.L. because I couldn't afford to be late anymore for my job. So, I contacted Sam. Sam was fast and expedient arriving on where I was at. And the best part about everything is his price was CHEAP! REALLY CHEAP compared to all the people out there, regardless of the fact that he was a friend of mine. He would also price match anybody and he would lower the cost of anything compared to any tow company. He will give you a reasonable price. Also, he told me you use me as a reference, Mykey, he will work with your price as much as he can. Trust me... this guy is awesome. I would go to him for anything dealing with car troubles. He's great with Unlocking Cars, Jump Starting them, quick Tire Change, perform road services, towing your car due to car accidents or if your car needs to be dropped off somewhere, and even drop off fuel for you. Ran out of gas on the highway in Pine Valley, about 13 miles east of Julian. Called roadside assistance through Subaru and they estimated that someone would come give us a couple gallons of gas in about 45 minutes. Unexpectedly, Sam from Fast 5 Towing showed up about 5-10 minutes later and helped us out. He was really fast, super friendly, and very helpful. He knew the exact exit that we should head to in order to fill up and even said that, since he was going that way anyway, he would make sure that we got there okay. I called this place to get a service to unlock the keys out of my car. I asked if they accept cards (its all i have AND its locked in my car) They told me that they do not accept cards and it will be an extra $10 fee if i use my card. Mind me, i am on the clock working and need my car to get around and am parked right in front of a Vons (literally the 3rd car closest to the door) so i asked if i could run in and get cashback as soon as they opened the car so i could pay them. They replied with "No, that takes too long and we will not stand around to wait for you" and hung up on me. A customer is a customer and there is such thing as customer service. Rude! Very fast, cordial, helpful. Got a blow out on freeway, pulled off and drove a Mile more to get to my doc appt. Was given their name by gas station attendant and they were there in ten minutes! They didn't gouge me given I was in a desperate situation, and took care of it while I was able to make my doc appt on time. He came in to warn me the donut tire was old and to drive slow and be careful. He went the extra mile since he was already paid and could have just changed the tire and left. Great service.
