The photos felt candid and real instead of overly posed or staged, and we found out Jim was the photographer. That ended up being exactly our experience too. My husband and I are both pretty awkward in front of a camera and really did not want to spend the entire day posing, but Jim was somehow able to get amazing photos while still letting everything feel relaxed and natural. Nothing felt forced. He was also super flexible with what we wanted while still being really organized about family photos and any specific shots we cared about. The whole process felt very easy and low stress. Also, the turnaround time was insanely fast. We got our previews and full gallery back way quicker than we expected. Not sure if we just got lucky being earlier in wedding season lol, but it was such a nice surprise right after the wedding. Viewing those pictures, my wife and I just loved the angles and composition of Jim's photos and knew that Jim would be hard to beat. Something I didn't realize before I got married was how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day. I think I probably spend more time with them than I did with my actual wife and groomsmen. Having say that, I was glad that Jim and Ryan were my photographers. They were really cool, funny guys to chat with throughout the wedding and you can tell they were passionate about getting the best photos they can get out of my wife and me. I appreciate they were always want to try out new poses, new angles, and new props so that the pictures stand out. Jim was also a great photographer for our families as he knows Chinese and was able to give out great instructions even to my family members who didn't speak the best English. It was pretty funny too when we weren't quite sure what we were doing during the Chinese tea ceremony and Jim was able to step in and give us some instructions. We got our wedding photos a month after our wedding date and we were not disappointed. Jim's selection of curated photos that he touched up were all amazing and were all worthy to be set as wallpapers on our phones. They were simply more interesting to look than most typical wedding photos we've seen elsewhere. And honestly, even the rest of the photos that weren't touch up or part of the curated batch were amazing to look at.

He provided competitive pricing and reassured me that he would be the editor of our videos, unlike other vendors that outsource the editing to people you would never meet or know about. #like - Alex is very professional and responsive. I think I spent the least amount of time coordinating with him compared to my other vendors, and everything turned out great. Every client is different, so this is not to say that you won't communicate much with him, but more-so that my outcome reflects his high level of experience. The video quality of the product was high. There were drone shots of the venue which was cool. Alex seamlessly collaborated with the separate photographer vendor, and he provided suggestions to my wife and me on poses and scenery to utilize so that we didn't have to spend time thinking. During the wedding, Alex genuinely expressed how much he enjoyed filming us, and this was significant to me because it shows the passion that Alex has for his work. A vendor could be a good videographer but not necessarily enjoy working; Alex takes it to the next level, where he delivers high quality work while also enjoying what he does. #suggestion - I bought a hard drive to provide to Alex so he could put the video files there for me.
