It was far from bad food but when a burrito from Taco Bell is more flavorful than one made to order there is something wrong. After eating I looked over the reviews and several other folks had made the same determination on other offerings. Bland .... with all the available spices and flavors that are associated with Mexican food I am a bit shocked. I might order again but only if I want a large serving of food I will have to add things that the actual cook should have added, I mean it was even lacking a decent helping of salt and pepper. If they can learn to add some flavor this becomes a great deal and I would love to keep using them. Let me stress that the food is NOT bad, it just needs a bit more attention to flavor (actually a good bit more)

The restaurant is spacious and gets loud when there's a crowd. Thankfully, there's usually a place for our larger group (6 people) to be seated comfortably. Service is very nice but slow. Trivia runs for a little over an hour and both times our food has taken about 45 minutes to come out, despite our comparatively small orders. My friend who comes to trivia does like the food here (he always gets a beef chimichanga FWIW), but everyone else has now tried several different dishes and not once been satisfied or even just not unhappy. The one shining star has been the cheese dip. It really is pretty good cheese dip, lol. The first time I ordered the chipotle chicken, which is supposed to be chicken in a chipotle sauce. I was firstly surprised and disappointed to see these were small strips of chicken rather than a chicken breast. But that would've been okay...had the chipotle sauce been decent. It had no chipotle flavor and honestly mostly just tasted like sour cream. It was very weird. My parents have tried a beef burrito, beef taco, and chicken taco. They said the beef has an unpleasant metallic taste and the shredded chicken was, according to my dad, inedible. Most recently, my husband got a carne asada burrito and said it tasted so unpleasant he was concerned about whether he should even eat it. Fortunately, no ill effects came about as a result of it; he determined it was ultimately just very low quality meat with an unpleasant texture and taste. My father in law just doesn't order anything except a beer after coming for breakfast once and having a bad time there, too. On my most recent visit, I got a side of rice and beans to eat with chips and cheese dip. The rice had been cooked into sticky, mushy lumps and had no flavor. At this point, I have no idea what to order that might even come close to satisfying my palate. It's disappointing. We may be forced back due to circumstances like our availability in order for us to play our favorite game and have time together. If so, I'll continue to try different things until I can maybe someday find something that works. I want to like this place and wish I had the experience so many other reviewers have had.

We were quickly seated and drinks brought out. Chips and salsa arrived next. Dave ordered the birria tacos and I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and chicken chipotle soup. The birria tacos were 3 each and served with consommé, red sauce, green sauce, and rice. The consommé was flavored well with fresh onions and cilantro. Each birria taco had beef, cheese, onions and cilantro. Taking a bite, the tasty consommé made the taco flavor enhanced. These tacos were delicious. 5/5 The chicken fajitas and accompanying salad plate with corn tortillas was delicious. The meat was flavored well and there was a generous portion of food. 5/5 My chicken chipotle soup was delicious. The accompanying onions, cilantro, jalapeños and rice allowed me to create a perfect taste. 5/5 The chips and salsa were so good. Everything we ate was very delicious! Y'all need to stop by and give this restaurant a try. 5/5

Stop by if you see it, you will be glad you did. The brisket is phenomenal, tender and juicy with flavor. I have also tried the pork sandwich and it is very tasty.

I saw these guys on Tennessee Valley Living and have been eager to find them since! They wanted to bring a Chicago style hot dog cart experience to their new home here and I'm glad they did! My family and I caught them at Das Stahl while playing trivia a couple of weeks ago, but they keep their schedule up to date on Instagram and on their website. They're also available for private events and catering. They serve hot dogs, of course, as well as large soft pretzels and some fabulous WvB merchandise -- I still need to buy my shirt! When we visited, they had a specialty dog (kind of a taco dog -- taco meat, salsa, tortilla chips) and brats for sale too. My dad had a brat, I'm pretty sure my mom had a chili dog, and my husband and I both got your standard ("Arsenal") dog with our choice of toppings. My parents also shared a pretzel, which I probably would've gone for too had they had a dipping sauce other than nacho cheese, as that's not my favorite. That being said, I stole a hunk of my parents' pretzel and found it agreeably soft and pleasingly salty, exactly as one would expect! Service was just one fellow manning the cart and they were pretty busy, so the line was a little slow, but he was super pleasant and working hard! Prices are also maybe a touch high ($5 for a standard dog, $6-8 for anything more involved), but what else is new in the current economy? It's nice to support local and it's certainly convenient! Hubs and I enjoyed our dogs -- very nice pleasantly beefy taste and cooked to perfection, with artfully applied condiments that covered every inch! Buns were soft and not at all stale. They have so many choices...we ordered the Nutella French Toast & then waited while they made them....we looked around at all the Bigfoot decor and merch & pics on the walls. Didn't take long & our order was ready. Thought we'd try one before driving home....nope, they are so warm and gooey, we kept popping them into our mouths!! Saved some to drop off to our daughter & now she & her husband are planning on going there this week! I can't wait to go back. And service was awesome!!
