Our first time, but definitely not our last. Fast Friends is aptly named as its whole goal is help make connections. They have a variety of events (cross stitching, jewelry making, plant bingo, trivia and lesbian speed dating to name a few.) We stopped for some pizza and a cold beverage before a concert. The staff was very helpful with recommendations and my wife enjoyed her beer. My froze was not too sweet and hit the spot. The place is spacious with a nice outdoor patio.

First time here for a birthday party. We sat inside because it was so hot. I don't drink beer, but they had a Frosé, and it was a bit too sweet but nice and cool. The parking lot is a bit small for the size of the place. Staff was nice. Bathrooms are gender neutral. I am sure I will be back with my husband as he enjoys beer.

Loved our visit to Fast Friends! This brewery has been on my list for some time as they have a great vegan pizza selection. It did not disappoint!!! The mushroom pizza with vegan cheese and truffle oil swirl was SO GOOD! Highly recommend and honestly I bet all the pizzas are delicious. It's cute with great indoor and outdoor seating options. Service was very friendly and everyone enjoyed their beverages.

Came to Fast Friends Beer on several occasions. It is a brewery that combines craft brewing, farm-to-table culinary, wellness and philanthropy into a unique hospitality experience that's unlike anything else in Austin. It has a large building that is tucked away in South Austin on 3 and a half acres. There are several floors of the building and they have indoor and outdoor seating options. The first time I came here for a free outdoor Rumble Kickboxing class they were hosting which goes along with their motto of fostering human connection. Second I was here for a birthday party and we had the bottom area reserved and I tried several of their food and beer options including *Pub Fries - golden brown and delicious, these hand-cut pub fries will make you happy *Pretzel Bites - classic salt pretzel with grain mustard *Pesto Caprese Salad - Pesto, Cherry Tomatoes and Mozzarella, topped with Basil, a drizzle of Olive Oil and Balsamic Glaze and a sprinkle of Salt *Margherita Pizza - red sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves I was impressed with their food selection as they had some unique and healthy items. Everything I tried was very flavorful and craftfully prepared. Recently stopped by again for a networking meeting and finally made it to the top floor which was very expansive and plenty of space for meetings. There were large screens for broadcasting sporting events. Welcome brewery option to South Austin.

Was here recently for an event with the kiddos, and we had a great time. The space is beautiful and open, with plenty of covered outdoor seating. The weather was perfect that day, and it's such a nice spot to be outside. There's also a designated play area for kids, which kept them entertained. The pizza was delicious--crispy crust with really flavorful toppings. The buffalo chicken was a favorite. I can't speak to the beer since I don't drink, but I would definitely come back with the kids for an afternoon of good pizza and outdoor fun.

Finally checked out Fast Friends a few days ago! I had been hearing about it for a while but never stopped in. We found free street parking right outside the brewery. We brought our dog with us, so after ordering inside, we sat outside. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available on 2 separate levels. There is also a huge play area for children. This is a family-friendly and dog-friendly brewery, for sure! We didn't try any of the food, but other tables had ordered food and it all looked and smelled good! We will definitely be back.

Yumm- we loved the pepperoni pizza with the jalepeno drizzle! The beer was also phenomenal, I drank the shandy and had to have 2 of them it was so good! We came on a rainy day, but I can see how fun this place would be on a sunny afternoon! Service at the bar was good, bartender asked what we were interested in and gave recommendations. We will be back!

Great addition to the south side right off 35 to grab some brews and food! Outside has a small playground for kiddos and seating as well as indoor seating. Food options are great! Order thru QR code at your table. Good options for vegetarian as well. Pizza is not your doughy type of pizza. Cauliflower bites are Delish!

I've told several people about this place, and had a chance to revisit during Barks for Beers and it did not disappoint! As nice as I remembered. Great outdoor space for people and dogs alike. Your furry family members are allowed on the patio if leashed, and there is an off leash space as well. Highly recommend. Lots of parking. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, nice selections, tasty brews. It's a multi level building, but there is an elevator if stairs are an issue for you.

Currently located near highway construction but loved that parking was easy since it hadn't gotten too busy yet. The space is great for large crowds with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Food was good! We ordered a few pizzas, the cheesy bread, truffle fries (great portion!) and the fried artichokes that was surprisingly good if you enjoy artichokes! Would've loved to toss them in some buffalo sauce as another option of "veggie wings" instead of just cauliflower. The seltzer was delicious and the hard lemonade was a bit too tart for me. Service was good as well! Once they build the other playground, it'll be much more family friendly

Beautiful patio weather. 3rd stop on my Barks for Beers 2025. Dog friendly patio and decent food. Pizza was interesting with the jalapeno sauce, reminiscent of salsa Verde. Delicious overall. Generous portion of fries! You can scan the qr code at your table to order food. Lots of patio seating and a playground for kiddos.

Man I have to tell you... what an amazing place. Just moved from Detroit with tons of vegetarian option and here is this wonderful brewery with a lot vegetarian & vegan options. The beer so far after 4 beers they are tasty and amazing. The staff is weird and friendly and very attentive. Love this place and Austin.

Huge brewery with lots of open space indoors and outdoors for seating. They have a great selection of light beers and IPAs and food menu, including salads, pizzas and vegan options. There's a small outdoor play area for kids too. Really nice place to chill with the fam and friends. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Avocado toast and vanilla latte for the win!

In the attached picture from left to right I rank the sake from bad to less bad. The one of the right was bearable but I still would not buy it alone. Perhaps the japanese sakes would have tasted better? We also decided not to get the sushi hand rolls to try and make the drinks more bearable as they did not have much variety or sounded good. We got Texas Sake tasting to start with and this is where we finished. The flight looked very different from other people's reviews here and tasted VERY fishy. The yellow-ish one was probably the most bearable one but it still was not good at all. To be very honest, I really had to push myself to take more than one sip of each. If I had nothing to compare with, I would probably refrain from being this harsh, but I have had cheap and expensive sake and I have never tasted anything this bad... We looked at the hand roll options and we didn't find anything we would be interested in. The interior felt like it was a bingo room with a couple of Japan inspired booths that looked a little bit out of place compared to the rest of the floor. Gave one star for nice staff and a cool fish mural.

The sourdough pizza was really good--almost like a focaccia/Detroit-style hybrid, but with the sauce layered on the bottom. Super flavorful, crispy edges, soft inside... honestly just hit. Also--my husband was way too excited (in the best way) to see boiled peanuts on the menu, so of course we had to start there. Great call. We'll definitely be back.

The building is quite large and inside is cool as the seating is quite spacious and a large number of people can enjoy food and drink at once. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.
