I called on Sunday for the results and I was told that the place they send X-rays to was closed on Sundays, that they would know something by Monday. On Monday when I called they said they hadn't sent it over to the place to have it read, but would and they would know something by the end of the day. I called back at the end of the day and they still didn't have the results. They did give me the number to the place they send the X-rays to so I called them and left a message. The man quickly called me back and said he didn't have my X-rays, but he did list off all the last names of the ones sent over by Xpress and other urgent cares who use their services. He asked me if I could take a photo of my X-rays and text them to him while we were on the phone and he'd read them. Since I don't have access to those X-rays I was unable to! Due to the run around by this place I had no choice but to go to another urgent care, Beaumont Urgent Care, for X-rays!! Beaumont was able to do my x-rays, give me the results and have me out of there within forty minutes!!

And what do you know they all came back negative! So they sent me on my way with a nausea medication and a cough suppressant when I had NO COUGH! I Had to call back up here because I was not getting any better and to have them call in an antibiotic. And once I started taking the antibiotics that I HAD TO ASK TO BE SENT IN I was feeling better.

Despite being sick, this was overall a great visit. This was the first time that I had been to…read morePrimeCare. When I arrived at the parking lot, I checked-in via a QR code that was on a window sign. It took me to a portal to complete paperwork and that took only a minute or two since I had not been there before. After I submitted the paperwork, I got a text message indicating that it was received and then another text a minute later indicating that everything good with the paperwork. I settled in by turning on a podcast in my car and dug into a magazine. About 5 minutes later, somebody came outside and called a name. My window was up and I assumed it was somebody who arrived before me. But when she called out the name again, I rolled down the window and to my suprise, it was my turn to go in. I was taken to a room where somebody immediately took vitals and a history of my illness. She did a quick covid and flu test. It took about 10 minutes to get the results back and a doctor (RN?) came in to give me the good news - no covid, no influenza but she asked more questions as to my symptoms and wound up writing my an Rx for cough drops and inhaler. Overall, a quick experience, especially in this time of covid and various protocols implemented. I would definitely come here again.

Update! Unfortunately the quality of care has gone downhill at this urgent care. They have now…read moremishandled 2 UTI's that I have been treated for. The first, I was underdosed with cephalexin, changed to cipro (which didn't work at all) someone finally figured out that I had been underdosed and I was put back on cephalexin. The second, I was given 1500mg of cephalexin instead of the gold standard which is 2000mg and was told they prescribed the lesser due to some billing things? (Not clear) so he orders the extra pills to put me on 4 times a day. I go back today and the Provider Kerrie Machcinski adamantly tries to tell me I was prescribed 500mg 4 times a day because she didn't do her homework and see that's not what I was prescribed initially and when I say I'll call my home and have them take a picture. She gets very aggressive and angry and even says "I know I'm being defensive" . It was unprofessional and extremely upsetting because I don't feel good and I'm coming to them to figure things out. She was demoralizing and did not make me feel heard as the patient and I didn't feel comfortable talking to her further. I won't be back.
