When I went to the doctor, they were quick and very efficient but when I tried to get my lab results, they did not have them ready. The front desk rep said that it would be 2 to 3 days I called on the third day and was told that the results were in but a nurse had to call me back to tell me information. No one ever called me back and I don't think that I should have to call several times just to get lab results. I have not been feeling well and it derailed my time of treatment if anything is going on because I'm not told if there's any results or if there will be medication given or anything like that. It is upsetting that I am not getting proper care in a timely manner. Someone should be returning calls to patients as results are coming in. read more

I came in an emergency need of a physical! IF I COULD GIVE 10 star I would!! They took care of me in every area, made sure of had all that I need. The office was very clean, in order, I called in the morning got in the SAME DAY! Wait time was very minimal and I had the best conversations + felt so comforted by all the staff! I have been here a handle of times but this last visit was the worst experience I have had and I didn't even make it into the back. The women at the front were so short and unhelpful in every way possible. If you are in pain please do not come here. I made an appointment for 12:45 for a pre employment UDS. An hour later, my name still hasn't been called. I also asked the lady at the front desk and she told me i was next.... Why have 3 names been called since then. Again, none of them mine. I'd get it if this was a walk in but having an appointment, i should never have to wait an hour or more, nor should anyone else. Update, currently 2:20 pm. And heard the receptionist tell another person waiting that an appointment time doesn't guarantee you'll be seen soon. I'm sorry but that's a** backwards. read more

I wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately that's not an option. About 3 days ago my mouth and throat were in extreme pain. Gums swollen, canker sores, and an extremely sore throat. After paying nearly $260 for the visit I was sent home with a prescription for a mouth was that does nothing to help cure the issue but only make my mouth numb for about 30 minutes. Nothing else, no antibiotics, pain medication, nothing. I've reached out as well over the past few days over the phone and everytime I call I get hung up on. I received the absolute worst and most incompetent medical care in my life. I fell at work and got a concussion. Was sent here by workers comp. Never saw a medical doctor because the entire staff is PA's, who are basic on their medical skills. I've been a nurse for 30 years and I have never seen such ignorance. They refused to send me for any kind of medical scan and tried to send me back to work in two days, which is against concussion protocol. After two weeks I confronted Laura , one of the PA's, about the fact that they were trying to send me back to work when I can't see to drive on the road. In retaliation, she wrote for me to return to work faster than I had originally been scheduled to. Fortunately my employer has allowed me the extra time that I need to heal. I'm working with my comp nurse to be seen by another facility. Don't wast your time here. read more

This place needs to be shut down! I took my son there today December 7,2021 for a Covid test. I had to go online to schedule an "appointment ". We arrived on time and waited an hour to be seen. The ladies who work the front are rude and they sit and talk and text while people are waiting for no reason. It wasn't crowded and several people that were there before me left for the same reason. My appointment was at 1:15 i didn't leave until almost 3pm! It took 10 mins for the rapid results to come back! This is unprofessional and unacceptable! This was my third and last time coming here! There is nothing "Fast" about this place. I made sure that sent a message on Twitter as well. read more

The website says that Fastmed is military friendly and accepts Tricare. However this particular location wasn't able to verify my daughter's coverage, even with proof of insurance and a military ID. She is a student at UNC Charlotte, student health is closed today, Sunday. She was told she has no coverage, and will be charged $199 without insurance. So my sick daughter just went back to the resident hall, still sick and was not seen by a provider. I would not recommend this location and will file a complaint read more

I've written a review for this location in the past, but decided to return after years thinking it would be better (I was mistaken). I had a 7:15 pm check-in (they close at 8) so I'm guessing they were ready to go, bc they advised me it was a 1 hr. wait with only one person in the lobby. Then, the lady at the desk told the patient before me he could not be seen until he paid his balance- LOUDLY. I felt bad for him, because I'm sure it was embarrassing since he was unable to pay. I was shocked at how cold and unfriendly the nurse and the check in clerk were. So disappointing. read more

Waited more then 2 hours in the waiting room. Only for the doctor quickly shine a light in my eyes, barely look into my medical issues to tell me to tough it out you will be fine. I woke in worse shape then when I left the doctors the day before. My eye was worse and so was my upper respiratory issues. I was vary disappointed in the fact that doctor was unwilling to even help with my issues and the fact I had to seek other medical attention from other doctors to be properly treated for my symptoms. read more

The doctors at this location don't really care about your health they only care about you paying and making your insurance pay taking your money they won't stand up for you or speak for you in a work note that you might of been ill and couldn't make to work and help you out with your job it was a nightmare wt my job being off and never got the doctor note do help me. Went to this location because it said "no appointments needed". I needed to get someone a test done. Got to the office and the receptionist states we needed an appointment and there were none available. I told her we needed results for school on Tuesday. She apologized and told.me.to go to the website. I again mentioned the website said no appointment needed. So I see why this thing is spreading like wildfire ...you get to go about your business for 4 days, spreading the virus before you get tested. By the way..there was NO ONE waiting, and they were going to be closing in 45 minutes. I am not happy. read more

This place schedules appointments and lets other walk in infront of you and does not make people wear a mask inside. No public restrooms, had to leave after waiting 1.5 hours because needed a restroom and after asking for a time frame after one hour of waiting the rude staff said when the rooms aren't full in a snide tone. read more

With all of the current issues going on in my life and recent travel, I wanted to have a COVID-19 test done. I scheduled an appointment for the following day at 8am. Arrived on time to a very clean office with a very friendly team. I registered immediately and was seen in 15 minutes. The registration was very tech-Savy which was great for me. The nurse took me in for vitals and weighing. Then I was taken into a room where another nurse came in, asked me a few questions, explained my options for testing (Regular vs. Antibody), then began the test. It was less than a minute. She gave me some paperwork as to how I could get my results then thanked me for coming in. Great facility. Great staff. I will certainly use them again should I feel I'll or need medical attention that I feel isn't too serious. read more

Waste of time! I waited 2 hours to be seen just for the PA to tell me to take allergy medicine for my allergic reaction that caused facial and throat swelling!! I've been taking allergy medicine and it still hasn't gone down. You would think they would carry the steroid shot for cases like this. read more

I visited this place with my daughter a few weeks ago. She had a muscle sprain. And needed crutches. The front desk person had a very monotone voice. She wasn't very pleasant at all. The nurse who saw my daughter was joyful & informative. Fast forward to today. I called 3x to ask for help. They answered and hung up on me 3x. They state they take walk ins and I called ahead of time just to make sure. I spoke with the receptionist on the phone who said they could take me if I came by 2 o'clock, for a simple TB test. I came before 2 and I have been waiting for over 2 hours while there are not many people in the waiting room. I am still currently waiting to be seen for a test that only takes a couple minutes to complete. I do not recommend this facility or company for any testing let alone anything that requires fast care. read more

The doctors are incredible but the wait times are ridiculous and the ladies at the front desk need a refresher on customer service. Don't keep a conversation running with your coworker while someone is waiting to be seen. Lord knows they need to hurry up and check in since it will be an hour and a half before they're even taken to the back (plus an extra 30 minutes before the doctor is even there). I'll say this, if you are going to be in customer service, you NEED to have a welcoming personality. It is so disappointing to walk in to an urgent care and the receptionist is unwelcoming. In addition, I scanned my license and insurance card online, only to be asked again for the information when I arrived. I had stomach flu/virus, was throwing up and dehydrated. My friend took me to Fastmed on Mallard creek because the web site said and still says they treat dehydration. They don't treat dehydration - no IVs. PA suggested I go to Emergency for that. FastMed SHOULD REMOVE DEHYDRATION FROM THEIR LIST OF Treatments. WE DONT HAVE ENDLESS MONEY TO SPEND GOING FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER. FastMed does not treat dehydration. they may diagnose it which is different from TREATING it. So I go to Emergency and they are asking for a doctor's referral to administer IV (otherwise they want to charge me to again see a doctor for a situation that was obvious). FastMed REFUSED to provide anything in writing so that I could get an IV directly without seeing another doctor. Morons! read more

I ended up walking out when waiting over an hour. The lobby was not even full with patients. When I wanted my information back the young lady had just started entering my information into their system, unacceptable. I observed quite a few areas of any fission seas and I would not recommend nor will I ever go back to this location. This FastMed is not the best. The wait is always hours and that's is bc They are always understaffed (Front desk and medical assistants). Something is always up with their computer system. I have been there 3-4 times over the past 4 years and each time I wonder why I returned. I wasn't given the correct strength of steroids after suffering from poison sumac and wondered why Symptoms weren't getting any better to only find out from another dr what they gave me wasn't strong enough and was told the healthcare professional should've known. During My last visit the PA checked my vitals including checking my ears with a scope and said everything was normal. I went to CVS for my Covid results 4 hours later where the NP checked my ears as well and found a severe bilateral ear infection. I'm pretty sure the ear infection didn't present itself in that short amount of time. I also watched the medical assistant barely enter my sons nostrils during a Covid test so the results came back negative. Next day after swabbing my son myself at CVS drive thru testing his results came back positive. I'm over going to that urgent care. If I can't get an appt with my PCP I'll be going to NOVANT urgent care instead. read more
