I had to go in for an annual screening today, so my job sent me to Concerta to do all my testing. The facility was easy to get to, there was plenty of parking, it was clean and well maintained, but the wait was a little more than I expected. Damien checked me in, and he was very professional and pleasant. Once inside, Nina C what is my nurse and she was amazing! She had a great bedside manner, very professional, she explained every test that she was doing in detail, and assured that I was feeling well along the way. Nina's demeanor was what we hope for in a medical professional: It was easy tell she loves everything about her job. All of the staff was great. All in all my experience at Concerta was good. I will see them in a week for my results and I'll be back next year for my annual. read more

I was sent to this Concentra due to workman compensation BACK IN APRIL of 2026 it's now the END OF JULY! I am still having symptoms that no one is concerned with. My injury was to my head! My workman's claim was closed by CONCENTRA because of missed appointments, being physical therapy what was making my injury worse. That was also communicated through appointment with the physician. Now let's talk about the physician care. Not ONCE did I see the same "doctor" so each "doctor" diagnosed me with something else or telling me completely different things. This place sucks! A "welcome" sign or website "greeting" stating...."We follow a zero-tolerance policy against aggressive behavior, which includes but is not limited to verbal threats, physical assaults, or damage to the case of aggressive behavior..." if i could give a zero stars i would. i told the front desk all of my symptoms (nausea vomiting etc.) when i get inside after they charge me the copay they said they wouldn't help me with any of my symptoms that "urgent care is for people with a cough or cold" i had no symptoms of either and they still took me in and made me wait an hour and a half for them to tell me they couldn't help me since the covid test was negative. thanks, i could've told you that. these people are not helpful and dishonest to patients. biggest waste of time. would not recommend because of the dishonest and unethical doctors and staff. read more

I've been to this location several times for annual DOT physicals with no problems. However, today was different. While the wait was not long in the waiting room, I sat in the exam room after giving a urine sample for over 45 minutes. The doctor was fine, and prescribed an antibiotic as needed. However, I never received the results of the urinalysis (and I admit I forgot to ask before I left...my fault). When I called later at close to closing time, they told me the doctor was gone for the day but the man who I spoke with would try and locate my information. The first time, he was unable to do so. He then went and apparently tried to locate the actual sample. But while waiting this second time, the phone went to constant ringing, indicating they were closed and not accepting any further calls. While I'm not anticipating any serious issues, this experience did nothing to encourage my returning to them for anything. This is simply unacceptable. Period. Very poor procedure for a medical practice. And it's especially disappointing given the fact that my previous visits were completely satisfactory and I prefer this Concentra location to any other in the Charlotte area. read more

I was waiting for my husband, so I was able to see everything Breanna did for her clinic. She rarely had a down moment, she remained professional with everyone, she was also kind with the staff and patients! I think an employee like Breanna deserve a raise, they keep the clinic going! This place is horrible!! I came here Monday 10/18/20 for a drug test and TB shot. When I signed in, they said it would take 45 mins, it took them 2 hours. When the lady finally called me back she stated, "they should've been called you back" So fast forward to Thursday, I went back for my TB reading. I signed in at 4:15 around 4:45 I started asking questions and I notice the rep haven't pulled my file yet. Finally they called my name around 5 o'clock. This place is the worst! I visited Concentra for my pre-employment drug screen and when I walked in, I thought oh this is a cool space. Much nicer than other Concentra's I had visited in other cities. Check in was pretty easy and the chairs in the lobby are very comfortable. They provide two TV's to watch and both were on ESPN during my visit. They have a complimentary coffee and tea bar and also complimentary water bottles. Really what is stand out for me here is their customer service. I had my family with me and I guess I was too comfortable to notice how long I had been there, about 45 minutes. One of the employees came out and apologized for the long wait and let me know that there was only one other person in front of me and that it shouldn't be long. She then also attended to my son and asked him if he wanted juice and a snack and of course he was quick to say yes. So she came back with two options for a healthy snack and some apple juice. She really touched me by that action. I appreciated her gesture and for me, she went above and beyond. My drug test was also very simple and the lady administering the test was very friendly and sincere. I know I only came here for a drug test but I do know that they also offer urgent care and I would definitely not hesitate in coming in for those services. read more

Had to do a drug test/physical for my new job & got sent here. I arrived at 9:13 AM, signed in & waited ... & waited ... & here at 10:45 AM, I'm still waiting. They didn't call one person until I had been here for 30 minutes. And funny how the front staff told me I'd only be here "60 minutes or less." Finally at 10:50, I got called back. The testing parts went by very quickly. But then had to wait to see a doctor. 25 minutes to wait on her. Front staff are rude. Back staff are nice. Odd! Parking is an issue, as they're in a strip with other businesses. Whole process from check in to check out took 3 hours. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! If I could give 0 star, I would. So I went there couple days ago for PPD skin test. To my surprise, the woman at the front desk never even check me in. She told me to sign my name and that's it. I wait and wait and wait. 40 minutes later, I come to ask them when it would be my turn. I come to find out the front desk woman not even give me any paper to file prior to sit me down. She keeps call people after me and completely ignore me. Finally when I ask, she finally give me the paper to start. Then I wait another 30 minutes, still has not been called. I asked the front desk again. They say they did not receive any paperwork from my employer reading the PPD. I have to call my employer and they did verify that they have faxed everything the day before. The front desk asks to have those papers emailed, which I have to wait again. Then again, they say they only receive the authorization release information form blank. I told them I gave them that form with my signature in the very begging of check in process. I waste fucking 2 hours in that office, was so late for work, and have to endure those fools lie to me again and again. Extremely incompetent office with a bunch of idiots. FYI: one of the front desk women named is Staci, the other one, which is the worst one, I could not get a hold of her name. Both of them are African American with a bunch of attitude read more

My apt was at 1 and they brought me to a room at 1:25pm and I am still sitting in that room and it's 2:30pm. Not one has opened the door. How do you treat people like this? My time is just as valuable as yours. Do you not know how many patients you are seeing on a daily basis. Or is it all about money and you just load up as many as you can? If you cant give proper care to all that walk through than call and cancel , I'd rather that than be treated like some animal shut in a room fuming. By far the worst place I have visited for medical needs. I was sent here due to a work related incident and did not have a choice. The wait time is ridiculous overall and there is no valid reasoning from my perspective. I had to wait 45 minutes just to "check out." Not checked out as seen by the doctor but checked out as in the last step per your departure when paperwork is submitted, next appointment scheduled, etc. The whole process is unheard of. It was so frustrating that it made me forget that my doctor was good! This opinion is based off of three separate appointments meaning this outcome is consistent. read more

Very nice staff! A busy location but they try to get you back as soon as possible. They give you a rough estimate as to how long your wait will be when you check in so you know what to expect. Almost 4 hours of waiting in a filthy waiting room to be seen for an injury review and that ended with a five minute conversation telling me to come back another day. I would not even give 1 star for this facility, It is by far one of the worst places to get any kind of care or if you need documents signed for insurance they will not respond to emails, faxes and when you call you just get placed on hold just to be told they dont fill out documents for insurance claims..WHAT,,,, Really.. Doctor knew what he was talking about. A little pricey without insurance. However the service was good. Nice staff. Wait time was a little long due to under staff issues. I would recommend this place. I went here for a second opinion. I went to fast med on mallard creek perviously and it was one of the worst experiences ever. I had to wait hours when I had my intial walk in injury (Friday).My time matters- this is poor business, and very unacceptable. Came here for a work injury, the staff is completely inadequate and not cut out for customer service. 2 hour wait time regardless of what time I come in is ridiculous. Left my number to be contacted so I could get lunch next door at the jimmy johns, came back after and hour and a half and was told I was called multiple times. Not only was I not called, but then the receptionist tells me that I never left my contact number! She just said she called me multiple times.
