A word of caution about the UPS store at 13033 Ridgedale Drive and pardon my rant…read more I recently shipped a 8 oz package to my son in Vancouver. The UPS store charged me $48 for this. I was astounded but paid the fee to ship it. I checked on the status of the package and it said that I needed to pay another $139 to have the package delivered due to tariffs, etc. I called Jen Chyrkulund, the owner of the store and she called me back and said there's nothing that can be done. She said that UPS and the UPS store have no affiliation. I asked what I paid $48 was for and she said that it was to ship it to Canada. There was no transparency whatsoever and Jen told me there's nothing more she could do about. I kind of feel like I just boarded a flight that I had paid for and told mid flight that the ticket price went up 270% and I had to pay to land. I understand these are tenuous times between countries, but businesses need to do better in terms of transparency and accountability. Good thing there is a FedEx store within a few blocks.

Was hired and was excited to start my first day met a bunch of new people there who were some of the most friendly people at work I've met for the first day was excited to work shook their hands and then the owner comes in. Not even 15 minutes into my shift he fires me for being nervous takes me out back hands me a 20$ and tells me to go to bruggers bagels so he doesn't have to pay me for my time. I was there to work and I was ready to try and he didn't even give me a chance and tells me I have previous workers like you in the past and because of that I'm not going to even let you try. Told me I interviewed well but I wasn't like how I was in the interview, of course it's my first day of work im 19 and I haven't been in the job force that long and have anxiety that Ive been diagnosed with. Owner doesn't want to take the extra time to train longer because he has a standard that is unbelievable high if I can't even try. A review was posted 7 years ago about how bad he was and seems like nothing has changed if you want to apply for the job the money isn't even worth it for working for a boss like that who will judge everything about you even if you don't think it.

This store has what you'd expect. I planted myself in the cell phone accessories section and looked at everything. The selection is great. I was then testing out stick pens that were exceptionally comfortable when you write. I liked the giant notepads where you can doodle. I then moved on to erasable pen ink where the claim is that you don't get eraser bits. I tested the pen out. Yep, the claim was valid. There were PopSockets on sale. You buy three and your fourth is free. Luckily, I couldn't find four that I liked. Saving money is great! Staff here were chatty amongst themselves. I wished the woman at the checkout a good day. She seemed bored, but she was alive on a Sunday afternoon. It's a clean, bright store. I enjoyed browsing here, (499)

I agree with Michelle W. that there perhaps could have been a little more selection. However, the cozy space (with the printing equipment in the same room and the friendly house dog) makes for perhaps a more authentic and personal shopping experience. I ended up with a really cool set of note pages set in a cigar box, a neat brown paper pad, and a card or two. I took quite a bit of time looking through their selection and could have easily done more "damage". The designs are indeed unique and the letterpress quality is excellent.

The shop has been in its current location since 1993 and (from the website - http://www.lunalux.com) is known for creating "charming paper goods using vintage letterpress equipment and modern photopolymer technology." On the edge of Loring Park, Lunalux transports the visitor to a time where presses were the only way to get the word out. The products they create run the gambit from clever to cute to down-right cheeky. You're sure to find a unique gift idea or two. What's more is the specially designated "Stationery Saturdays," where shoppers can go home with customized paper products, or just enjoy coffee and cookies while you watch the staff work.

Kenny was friendly, professional, and full of positive energy. He made the process quick, easy, and even fun. He went above and beyond to make sure the photo looked great and met all the requirements, while also making me feel comfortable and welcome. It's not every day you leave a passport photo appointment smiling, but thanks to Kenny, that's exactly what happened. If you need a passport photo (or any service they offer), I highly recommend stopping by this location. you'll be in great hands. Thank you, Kenny, for your outstanding service!

The place was clean at the opening at 9 AM. Well with the double mask on, even if they don't vacuum we won't smell anything ha ha Ha
