Richard was extremely helpful and showed us where the garden department was located. Even the bags of dirt are displayed as beautifully as merchandise in a high-end store! After making our purchase, we decided to head over to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted and given our choice of a booth or table--we chose a booth. Our server, Josh, promptly offered beverages, and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee while looking over the menu. I chose the BLT on a croissant with a side salad. The meal also came with fresh buns, available in either whole wheat or white. Josh told us that most people choose the white, which made me smile. The salad arrived almost immediately and included shredded lettuce, grated carrots, and two tomato slices with a side of blue cheese dressing. It was good, but the BLT--wow! It had more bacon than Miss Piggy could dream of. Unfortunately, there was no mayonnaise on it. I'm not sure whether it wasn't offered or if I simply overlooked it, but I added some to the half I brought home, and it was just as delicious later. I would highly recommend the BLT on a croissant. And if you have the opportunity, ask for Josh as your server. We were told we could request him, and honestly, I would go back just for his excellent service. Another fun aspect of the experience is the atmosphere. The place feels almost like a Las Vegas venue--huge, spotless, and designed to accommodate hundreds of guests. Despite its size, the service was outstanding. We even shared a few laughs with the dessert server. Speaking of desserts, you should see them--they're enormous! My son tried the polish boy with sour kraut and I tried the pizza grilled cheese. We also all split the onion rings with zesty sauce and the Buffalo chicken risotto balls. Everything was very good and it tasted fresh. All employees took care in interacting with others and keeping their patrons safe by wearing masks which was greatly appreciated. It was HUGE and the sriracha cream dipping sauce that came on the side was especially delicious. The only let down was the western omelette combo...it came with two weirdly tiny omelettes and a small scoop of potatoes and was $21. Meanwhile my giant quesadilla was only $13 - a deal! Our server said she was new and didn't know much about the omelette combo so I am wondering if it was not the right thing.
