Good music and a very hipster-esk clientel means its a very relaxed environment and for a smoker like me HEAVEN. They make a mean pizza and the cocktail jugs are a good price and decent. the toilets however were too small and the line a mile long but that was updated recently which is good. it needs a few other things but its a new cool layed back Been Garden which works well. P.s Bring back the Shisha guys!!!

You go to your table, choose what you want to eat and go up to order. We did notice food was coming out fairly quickly, but also seemingly randomly considering the way we saw people go up to order. Our meal took way longer than expected, but it was enjoyable when it finally came. The chicken kiev was perfectly golden brown on the outside and the fries were great, and while the rice was lovely, I didn't feel it fit the meal. With that said, everyone liked their meal and I'd come back here again for another casual meal be it lunch or dinner. They have their own on site parking out the back, or there's plenty out front. The food is well priced and the service is friendly enough. Give this a go!

As far as food went, I really liked the deep fried mac and cheese, and the shrimp po boy was quite tasty, but could do with a bit more remoulade. We also got the Dom and that was INSANE! I have no idea how one person is supposed to eat all of that. It was really tasty though, but I felt like I was going to explode from eating it. There's also a very impressive collection of hot sauces you can try with your meal, including one with a "try at your own risk" label on it! I have no idea how I first discovered this pub. I'm guessing one of my friends told me about it - and booking it for my 30th was simple and straightforward. Inside it's a very traditional looking pub which has had a bit of a renovation so it's quite classy, and outside there's a beer garden as well as a covered area which is what we used for my birthday. It was just perfect and made for a really fun night. When we visited recently, we enjoyed some drinks in the beer garden before moving inside for dinner. The menu is gastropub style and there's some really interesting sounded dishes on the menu but I went for the token chicken parma as it had been so long since I'd had one. While I wouldn't say it was the best parma I've ever had it was pretty damn good. Overall, this is a lovely little pub off the chaotic Chapel St which is well worth a visit if you're looking for a quiet catch up with friends.

I arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night and the place was packed, and pumping. There is a front bar, and a large outdoor beer garden. We were in a small function room for my friends birthday, which was quite intimate but a good size. I ate a quick bite for dinner, which was the fish and chips- a nice meal and I didn't have to wait too long on a busy night. Definitely will be heading back for another night at the Duck.

The first thing you see is the large communal table surrounded by walls covered in all sorts of delicious looking bottles. There's a couple of window seats and clever little tables along the side. But, walk past the main bar and there's a small little room that can host a couple of small groups with an open fire. Keep walking down the hall and there's a lovely outdoor area, which is going to be excellent in summer. Milton is already warmer than my apartment and has access to delicious wine so I may as well just move in. Find me here a lot.

Its only a short skip from home and is quickly becoming my go to place. The decor is fantastic and the wine selection is just as good (even though my knowledge of wine only goes as far as red or white) but the guys there can help suggest the perfect drop for your occasion. Its always busy in this cosy little establishment so finding a table can often be hard, but never fear as the atmosphere is a fun one to be in. Well done guys, I love coming here!

Mine of course was one of the last (seems to be a recurring theme with me) but the guy was really apologetic and it wasn't a big issue. The food was delicious and filling. Generous portions for good prices. Everyone loved what they got, and even though it's a really casual, pub type of place, it was all well presented and everything was clean and made for a good lunch. I'd definitely recommend coming here whether it's in summer or winter as they cater for both, and it's in a good location with reasonably good parking. Really enjoyable.

When you just want to drink all these factors become pretty important. Comprising of a few different levels, an outdoors area and a lot of seating, Nevermind pulls steady crowds and has a really nice atmosphere. I've never felt uncomfortable or picked up any dodgy vibes. Its just a nice location and is filled with seemingly nice people. Due to the large amount of couches Nevermind is the perfect location to catch up with friends or even hold an event. The only thing I have a problem with is continuously walking up and down stairs to get drinks but it doesn't seem to bother me too much once I've had a few.
