Premiere store for MCM in Raleigh. Back again & the store has changed location and focus. Still lots of mid century modern furniture & decor. Still funky and eclectic stuff but now more organized & curated pieces. The prices for items reflect this too. Prices are extremely high. I can understand it as they have to go find the pieces, fix it up & it takes up premium space in this smaller store. So if you've got the money but no time to go hunt down the furniture, then pieces are quite reasonable. This is not a thrift store. It's a vintage store w/ gallery / museum pricing. Owners / consigners are willing to negotiate, so ask for a better price, you just never know. Amazing selection of furniture with ahmazingly high prices. Lots of vintage clothes and records upstairs. Still miss the digging and the hunt of the old store when they had more random items and somewhat reasonable pricing. Miss their bigger store on Hargett St. Y/DM CM

A cute shop with so much to pick from a wide variety of clothing, records and home decor. The prices are a little much, but there are hidden gems in here for sure. Make sure to stop in and explore this spot. For more recommendations follow @raleighunlocked on Instagram.

Well curated mid-century modern. Nice and helpful staff, and unique pieces if this is your style. Well worth a stop just to enjoy it. This is stop #1 of my loop, and sets the bar high! Raleigh Thrift Loop My favorite thrifts in Raleigh strung together in a one afternoon Mapquest loop. Really cool shop... almost more of a museum than an antique shop. I saw a pair of horse bookends that was a perfect gift for my sister and was able to negotiate the price with the staff. Easy sale!

80s 90s junk hiding a few nice furniture pieces.

Very curated store which is cool to see, but for a MCM store the prices are some of the highest I've seen of any city.

The parking is the worst Igor this store but if you have the time go to the newly opened French pastry house around the corner

10/10 one of the single greatest antique places I've ever been to specializing in mid century modern this place is absolutely awesome stuff.

I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

I really like their clothes because they are modern and affordable however well-made. When I walked into the store yesterday they had free apple cider that you can sip on while walking around and shopping. Besides clothing they also have jewelry and candles and cards and little knickknacks. There is a kids section with kids toys and books about how to be inclusive. I love their vibe and it's a very nice store which also has Instagram stories weekly so you can kind of see what they have in stock before you go there.
