There were books, media, beautiful pieces of furniture, rugs and loads of kitchenware and cookbooks. The clothes are only for men. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Prices were competitive with nearby thrift stores. There are also clean bathrooms and water fountains! The Mama Edna Project's Mission Statement: "To bring awareness of food insecurities as they exist among our most vulnerable populations, to gift it forward by honoring Mama Edna's legacy of feeding those who are hungry and to lift folks out of these insecurities by helping them thrive in all aspects of their lives to include helping them grow their own food when possible." I absolutely love donating to the Durham Rescue Mission as they make it super easy and the donations go to a good cause. There is a drive thru bay in the back in which you just pull up and then a team of guys unload the car for you. They are always super nice and it could not be any easier. They'll even give you a tax receipt if you want. Highly recommend!

A large selection of books but not in any particular order except for type of books. Lots of clothes but I didn't look very much. Got a few kitchen things and one book. Some things were priced the same as other stores and some were higher priced. Wonderful customer service at the only register open. I will return when I have more time to look.

Some of it was relatively organized by type of clothing, and there was a kid section, a men's section, and a women's section Their prices were kind of hit or miss to me. Some things were reasonably priced in the brick rack section but other times you'd get other items that were like $15 which didn't make sense to me. (See photos) Same goes for anything branded they definitely give it a higher tag. For example, I liked a sweater Forever 21 and it ended up being like $14 so I put it back. Furniture was same- $100+ for a small shelf then dropped to $80 but I wouldn't have spent that much at a thrift shop. It's not an antique store in my opinion.
