They masked off the surrounding area of the bathroom very thoroughly and got the edges very neat. The result looks bright white and sharp. The nonslip coating on the base of the tub was a reasonable additional cost, and seems comfortable enough on the feet. That seems sufficient to avoid the need for a separate tub mat for the sake of safety, which will make it easier to keep clean.

I shopped around and these folks were way cheaper than the other two. Like, I wondered why? Well, because he has a strong sense of what's fair, and lives by that. So I paid more than ask. Because my 122 YO claw foot tub had a 9"x 5" 'wound 'in the porcelain which is all filled in and now the tub gleams. Because he kept the compressor off when it wasn't needed, so my cats wouldn't have heart attacks. And because he's so straightforward, lovely, human - a real mensch. Miracle Method of Providence refinished the tile in two of my bathrooms today, and I had to write…read moreto describe my five star experience. The owner Tom and my technician Justin did wonderful work, at an excellent price. My 1960's house had a number of fixtures built into the tile, from toilet paper holders, to a small medicine cabinet, to a scale (yes, a scale that could pull down from the tile wall - like a Murphy bed). Justin and Tom pulled these old-fashioned things out of my walls, and it took a total of 59 tiles to cover over the gaps! In four days they did the retiling, filled other holes from old towel bars, and painted my orangey-beige and yellow striped walls a clean and fresh white, installed new shelves in the shower, and took down and carted away an old shower door. They went about their business with a friendly professionalism, worked to exactly the schedule we set, and left my home clean. The bathrooms look new! I'm a huge fan!! A before and after shot is attached (this isn't a "true" before, since the inset soap dish was removed & the hole patched, and shower shelves were already up). I don't expect any problems with the work, but if any do come up I have no doubt that I'll get exceptional customer service in addressing any issues.

Came to our house for a redo (was about 10 yrs). Did a good job then…read more When they arrived this time they said they couldn't do the work (tub was too large) ... was the same tub 10 yrs ago. They said we needed to remove some copper handles in the tub in order to do the work and then patch the holes. Would cost more but we agreed. After removing the handles, they are now declining to do the work saying that can't patch and the tub is too big. Very odd interaction.
