First, I have been at Wynn Hospital as a scheduled patient and received excellent care. But this…read morereview is for the Emergency Room on a recent medical need. I collapsed and had to be brought in. The place looks great, but all the money went for show, not care. Initial greeting was good, but then just ignored. There were many problems with the visit. I was there for over 15 hours. Said just wanted to hold me for observation then changed next morning to admitting with no reason. There are plenty of doctors roaming around to poke their head in to add a consultation without doing anything. The call button in my room was not working. Tried for 45 minutes to get help to urinate, no response. Nurse said she fixed button but still did not work when needed assistance later. Someone came in and asked for info and I asked her to get nurse. Ten minutes later, nurse showed up to turn off call light and walked away. She came back 8 minutes later, she said had to go elsewhere. Could not take 2 seconds to say be back, just felt ignored. A cute mobile x-ray showed up to take a picture. Why? I don't know why and how can you take a chest x-ray with all the wires and contact stickers in the way? These were only some of the problems until I finally signed myself out "against doctor's orders". Which doctor, I don't know. One of the ones breezing in and out for the consultation fee. I would not go back to the ER except to die!

The communication among the medical staff was clear and calm and to the point, which relayed confidence and care. The other hospital staff were super agile and friendly, which were both welcomed and appreciated. The medical staff was knowledgeable and confident. Parking in the garage was nice but the vehicle height had to be 7 ft or smaller (something like that) and I'm grateful our pickup truck made it in safely.

The emergency room at Saint Elizabeth's is beyond disgusting. It doesn't appear to be cleaned…read moreregularly. Staff is either consumed by their phones (security), uncaring, condescending, or worse. If you're headed to an ER, it's probably serious. It might be worth driving to the next closest emergency room. Seriously, the staff- from the entrance where the security guard doesn't look up from his phone, or the desk attendant who acts like you're bothering her. Once you get taken into the back, you will see how dirty the place seems to be. Nursing staff are rude or worse. Much worse. Go anywhere else but here.

Trying to schedule even a basic appointment is a challenge in itself--you can expect to be on hold for 60 to 90 minutes, only to sometimes get disconnected or transferred without resolution. It's incredibly disrespectful of patients' time. The entire process feels driven by volume and billing rather than genuine care. Communication is poor, follow-ups are inconsistent, and there's little sense of urgency when it comes to patient needs. Instead of feeling supported, you're left feeling like just another number in a system focused on maximizing profit. A medical office should be a place where patients feel valued and cared for, but that is not the experience here. Between the excessive wait times just to speak to someone and the overall lack of efficiency and compassion, I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative providers.
