We recently used Andy Anderson to move based on good reviews we had read online and they were not…read moreworth the cost. The crew was nice and nothing was broken. However, they were horribly inefficient. It took a four man crew twice as long to move us out of the apartment as it had taken a 2 man crew to move us into the apartment with the same amount of stuff. Also, we had some bags with personal items in a corner that we said we would move ourselves. They insisted multiple times they needed the bags to use as filler in the truck, and when we finally said ok it took extra time for them to use an unnecessary amount of tape on the bags. Furthermore, we had a couch in the bedroom and this crew could not figure out how to move my couch without taking the bedroom door off its hinges- the whole process took an hour, which was problematic as we were paying $225 an hour. That couch has been through six moves with me- 2 of those times I personally moved with the help of an older uncle and it has never taken an hour to move because it's not a terribly heavy couch. In addition to the inefficiencies, we still have bookshelves, a glass insert, and a remote control that they packed up missing. Lastly, I had several boxes marked fragile in big, bold letters and the crew stacked heavy boxes on top of my fragile items.

If I could give this Box and Dolly a grade, it would be 110% out of 100%. Box and Dolly exceeded my…read moreexpectations by going above and beyond their job to provide support for me as a customer during my time of need. I am six months pregnant (25 weeks at the time) and alone because my husband moved to PA for a job. I was left with 70% of the house to pack and of course needed help. We agreed to get a U-Haul and hire movers to put the stuff in the truck, then my husband would fly back down to NC to drive the truck. After doing searching reviews on both google and yelp, I contacted a few different companies for a quote. Box & Dolly/Mr. Gibbs reached out to me via phone to communicate his services and rate. He was personable but also very transparent and straight forward about his fee which was 1 flat hourly rate. The day of move, Mr. Gibbs and two other men got there 15 mins early and I was able to show them what needed to stay/go. They laid down a runners throughout the house (to not damage the floor) and got to work. He quickly realized there was something wrong with the U-Haul when he started it to move it. I called U-Haul and got the most wasteful runaround for about 30 mins. Mr. Gibbs picked up the phone and called the U-Haul on Bragg Blvd and was able to get an emergency switch within 2 minutes. Again, I was alone, so Mr. Gibbs offered to give me a ride to the U-Haul. The truck BEARLY went over 30 mph and sounded like it was on the brink of exploding. Mr. Gibbs drove the truck to the Bragg Blvd location and even negotiated an upgrade (larger truck) on my behalf for the inconvenience. At the end, he did not charge me for the almost hour and a half it took to switch the truck out. There's no doubt in my mind that if I hired another moving company, they would have loaded the faulty truck and it would have been our problem after that. There was absolutely no way the first truck was going to make it out of my driveway once it was loaded. To say I highly recommend this company is an understatement. They also took special care to wrap and disassembled furniture. They also were meticulous about packing the truck. When we arrived in PA, our items had not shifted and was not damaged.

They really went above and beyond to ensure that my belongings were protected from damage, and to place the furniture and boxes in the best place in each room. They worked steadily and efficiently, and the move was completed very quickly. Plus, they were so much fun - I cannot recommend them enough!

That cabinet alone is worth $5k, not to mention the cracks, chips, and scratches on the other furniture. Do not use this Franchise.... Good morning,         Brendan with Olive Glass and Marble said that he has tried to install the newly cut glass for you, but you are requiring the back of the cabinet to be repaired? Brendan notes that the back of the cabinet is structurally sound and the minor damage will not be visible. We will not be repairing the back of the cabinet. You signed for Basic Valuation, which means our legal obligation is to reimburse any damages at .60 cents per lb. per item. We try to go above and beyond what our obligations are, however, since you are refusing install, we are going to revert to Basic Valuation. We would estimate your weight to be 240lbs which would put your compensation at $144. Please allow 2-3 weeks for a check to be mailed to you. We will mail this check to 6057 Iverleigh Circle Fayetteville, NC 28311.             Thank you,                 Jeremy
