Everything you have always desired or envisioned your move to be is reality with this company. I contacted Andy a month before we moved. His pricing and scope of work is straightforward. After comparing with other moving companies his price was more than competitive. I contacted him weekly prior to the move. He does not have you sign anything, and to be honest it was a little concerning to me as paper trail person. But, let me assure you, His Word is His Bond. We joked weekly about the calls. And he always told me "Talk to you soon", cuz he knew how I was. On moving day as promised his crew of 4 showed up- early. Not at 7 am as promised, but Early at 6:55 am with a truck, a van and four person crew. The outstanding crew that moved us that day were Jeff, Joey, Jerome and Tony. They were extremely professional, courteous, conscientious and fast. After a quick walk through they dove right in. They wrapped everything and they protected the wood floors. They carried the boxes and furniture with extreme care. At one point it looked like we might have to make two trips. But they packed the truck and van so tight we did it in one! Any other company would have said sorry, two trips and more money. Not this company, they made sure that they maximized my money. My entire door to door move took 6 hours. This included taking apart and reassembly of furniture and washer and dryer. I estimate my weight to be 10,000 lbs. We usually move with 17,00 but we moved small stuff ourselves and lots of stuff was in storage. We did have one mishap with a very heavy and oversized executive desk. When the crew tried to bring it in the front door they slightly damaged the edge of the desk. Andy Anderson was so quick to address the issue and have it repaired by the best furniture craftsman and artisan ever- Mr. James Canaday of Old Heritage Restorations. I highly recommend this company. I will recommend Andy Anderson's moving service to anyone. His moving crew of 4 people showed up at 7am on the dot just as advertised. We did a quick walk-through of our 4 bedroom house and literally within 2 minutes they were at work. This obviously wasn't their first day. They filled up the moving truck with zero space to spare. They took a 5 minute break (well deserved seeing it was 98 degrees out) after filling the truck. Then they backed in the enclosed trailer to finish up with a 3 bulky work benches in the garage, loaded the van with a few fragile items and were on the way to our new home within 30 minutes. Unloading was a breeze. Not a single broken item or mark on the wall. All the beds were put back together. They offered to hook up the washer and dryer but I told them not to worry about it because I needed to get a new pan for the washer and clamp for the dryer vent pipe. I also asked them to borrow one of their dollies for a few minutes so I could move some new blinds (awkward box size) out of my truck. Not only did they help me get them out of my truck, they also placed them at the correct windows throughout the house. The movers were extremely polite and professional. I was also super impressed at the fact that I didn't see a single cell phone out all day. I rarely write reviews but I felt this one had to be done. I know it looks like the owner himself probably wrote this but I can assure you that he didn't. I highly recommend this moving company! They showed up on time and moved everything so quick. They even navigated 3 staircases with no issue! It was hot but they kept working! They got an entire apartment's worth of stuff moved down 3 floors and unloaded for us at our new home across town in only 3 hours. Not once did they milk the clock. They even move electronics in a separate van to keep them safe which I think is a much better process than most companies usually have. I was very impressed!! The price was also really great compared to other quotes we got! But what really sold me on this business besides their reliability and hard work was how caring the owner was. Despite the fact that we had a really good team, we did have something get damaged accidentally. As soon as the owner found out, he went above and beyond to help us get it replaced immediately. I feel that no matter how good a company is, accidents can happen and what really matters is if a company will make it right or if they will leave you hanging. This moving company cared in a way that you won't find with larger companies. All that to say, our belongings are important to us or we wouldn't bother to bring them with us when we move. I really appreciated their help because Two men and a truck in Fayetteville said they were unable to help me because they could only make moves originating from Fayetteville, not coming to Fayetteville. Andy Anderson and his guys moved us from Fayetteville to Swansboro a few weeks ago. They showed up exactly on time and brought 10 guys. The 3 bedroom ranch with bonus room and garage was loaded and rolling in two hours. They even found my mother's antique diamond engagement ring under the bed! We looked for it for months and thought it was gone forever. We weren't even the room when they found it, so someone could have kept it, but Andy came to find us in the garage and returned it! So awesome. They arrived at the house in Swansboro before we did and waited patiently. They put everything exactly where we wanted even if it meant moving it a few times or going back up and down the stairs. His guys were friendly, polite, and respectful. They were a very professional crew with a dedicated approach to the job of moving personal property.
